WORTH IT
I’m the type of person that obsessively researches EVERYTHING so needless to say that something involving a medical procedure (even if it’s non-invasive), that could potentially do more harm to my face, was not an easy decision. But that’s when Real Self came to the rescue! I must’ve looked at every single before and after pic and read every review. Since that was so instrumental to my decision, it’s only right that I post my own before and after so here goes… This is exactly one week post-op. I still have plenty of swelling which the doctor says will improve over the next several weeks/months. Hope this can help someone else on the fence about this procedure. Stop researching and go for it!

Wow many thanks for your prompt reply you helped me alot and i hope you heal soon. I heard sometime nerve damage might cause an issue with the smiles which it scares me not the numbness

Hope your surgery went well and are recovering quickly! I’m very pleased with my results. Had my final visit with the surgeon who says the skin will continue to retract but he’s pleased with my results, as well. No regrets at all! Actually, my only regret is not having done this long ago.

As for nerve damage, apparently that’s to be expected. I definitely still have numbness under the chin but it gets better each day. My doctor said that could take months to subside but at the rate it’s going, I’d say maybe a couple weeks.
