Just Got the Surgery, We'll See How It Turns Out!!

WORTH IT
This is 2 months after the surgery. The results are not dramatic or extreme. As you can see there is still some fat on the sides, and the lower 3rd of my face is still fat, so it is not a crazy transformation. Additionally, I would not expect this procedure to resolve certain issues such as my wide jaw or slightly droopy/loose skin. However, I do see a difference, and I look better from multiple angles and feel less fat when I touch it. Since I hate my double chin I am SO happy to see any difference. I feel more confident about my chin and my appearance. Additionally, I can feel some lumps still so I expect it will continue to improve a little bit more. My only hope for this procedure was for it to be not terribly painful and not to have any complications. Both those wishes were met, and there is some improvement for my chin. So, I feel it was worth it. And for the price, I would still chose this doctor over another one with slightly more dramatic results but 3x the price.

I am only 2 months after but this is my experience so far, it is like opposite of yours:
Right after the surgery, it looked terrible and ballooned.
For the whole month post surgery, it looked same as before/slightly swollen
After that, swelling began to go down, but hard lumps and fibers developed. The lumps are smaller than the swelling so even though I can feel they take up space, it looks better than post op now.
It seems like the lumps continue to decline very very slowly.
I would say to have patience as healing with the body happens very slow :) Take some arnica pills every day to reduce swelling, and make sure to massage the area several times a day!

Just Got the Surgery, We'll See How It Turns Out!!
Hi guys! I literally just got this chin lipo and am dying to tell anyone, so I'll post here for your benefit. So, I am 24 and I drove down from San Diego to get it. I reached out to the clinic at the end of November 2020 and was able to get a spot in mid december 2020.
BEFORE THE SURGERY
- The drive across the border was easy and uneventful, they didn't even check anything
- The clinic was easy to find on google maps and had parking
- When I came in it's a small room inside a bigger multi-tenant building. The lady at the front desk was nice and she had actually done the procedure herself which made me feel a lot better hearing about her experience with Lazos and seeing it with my own eyes. They let my bf wait for me on the couch, which I appreciated a lot.
- In regards to the email communication, I thought it's weird the actual doctor answered my messages rather than an assistant. The responses were short and had typos, which made me nervous about the quality. I just kept telling myself he has done this procedure 1000 times.
PROCEDURE
- I met the doctor and he had me sign some forms. He did not have a very professional attitude or outstanding customer service. However, I was prepared for this from other reviews and ultimately as long as the procedure is good that's what I care about.
- The assistant laid me down on the table and asked me to tie my hair back. Then the doctor came in. I was SUPER anxious. I was especially nervous for the anesthetic because of one review I read that it's excruciatingly painful. He was saying something and all of the sudden I felt a small prick. I think that was the initial small anesthetic. I sort of appreciated he didn't warn me because that way I built up less anticipation.
- After that he did the main anesthetic. For that one the notified me and then immediately went at it. Omg, it was weird. It actually didn't hurt at all, but I could sort of feel things getting torn/separated. It scary, but it was over after about 1 or 2 minutes. I would say the pain level was 0 or 1, but since it felt SO weird and wrong I felt like I immediately went into a panic attack and my body was freaking out. I asked them to turn on music which thankfully they did. I asked if I will have an issue breathing and he said it's just anxiety, which weirdly made me feel better since he understood how strong the effects of anxiety can be. After that we waited for the anesthetic to take effect.
- After a very brief period of time, mayybe 5 mins, the doc came back. I asked him if it's already ready and he felt my chin had already become cold, and said yes. They put a blanket thing over my eyes, and again the next step started pretty abruptly which I didn't mind. This part I was really not looking forward to because of how nasty and brutal the youtube videos are. If you haven't watched any youtube videos, keep it that way and do NOT watch any. It will just make it scary for no reason, because from a purely physical/feeling sense the procedure is really not bad. So anyway, just like the videos it was pretty intense and fast cannula motions in and out. He did the right and left and center, and said I didn't have a ton of fat in there but we'd get it looking nice and chiseled. TBH I was freaking out and wiggling a lot, so they gave me a silicone boob to play with LOL. It actually helped. Overall, it was a pain level of 0, no painful at all, but very weird. After about 10 mins or so he finished up.
- It was done!!!! I asked to look at myself in the mirror, but I looked the same/even more puffy or swollen. So, I have no idea how the results are and I will have to wait. But, the lady at the front desk looked GREAT in terms of her chin. They gave me a head wrap and gauze pad and some prescriptions for the pharmacy next door. I felt (and still feel) totally fine/normal, with the only difference being some slight numbness in my lip.
- I just got home after 1 hour and still feel good. I will continue doing the after care and update you guys after 2-3 weeks when I can reduce the compress wearing!!! Thanks Dr. Lazos for a quick and painless experience.
Overall, this procedure was not bad at all. I was most scared that something sketchy or terrible will happen but at this moment I am alive and fine so I feel it's a success haha. I would say my microblading and eyeliner tattoo were both much more painful. However, this definitely felt extremely weird and I feel that one time in my life is enough, even if it didn't end up working. I am also glad that I went here and didn't pay the ridiculous exorbitant fees the US charges for a 15 minute procedure. So far, I feel that it was worth it, and am looking forward hopefully to my results.

I am here now from San Diego! Great review
Good luck and best wishes!! :)
Thank you! I am all done very good experience. The pain kicked in just now. How you handling it? Are u taking the medicine he prescribed?
The incisions from the buccal fat removal seem to be open, are yours open?
I only got the chin lipo. But I heard for the buccal it can take a few days to close, but maybe email him just in case. For me there is pretty much no pain. I took the pain medicine he prescribed the first and second day mainly because it was my period haha. If I touch the area of the chin that had the procedure there is pain, but without touching it it feels totally fine. I have not taken my garment off at all but I can tell it's still swollen.
Did you only get chin lipo or did you also get the buccal fat removal? How much was your procedure?
I just got the chin lipo! It was 700$. But be warned crossing the border back to mexico takes like 8 hours!!! So we paid the border guard $80 for fast pass
I think with buccal I heard another review say its 1100
I heard you can bypass the lines due to medical reasons example you just had "surgery"
It is.
Thank you for the very detailed review!
UPDATE
My procedure was Tuesday, it is now Saturday. I have been feeling fine and have been wearing the compression garment 24/7 and trying to stay elevated. I've been taking Arnica and sleeping as much upright as I can. There is no pain or discomfort, but I am still swollen and cannot really see any results. I heard it takes at least a week for the first healing to happen so I will wait that long before taking the garment off and having a good look. I have a big scar on my chin which I think was him missing the incision with his cannula, so I ordered scar cream to put on it. Exercise is not allowed so I have been sitting around. I told my family I had my wisdom teeth removed and they bought it!! hahah.

I eanted to ask you, I have had my neck liposution for almost 6 weeks ago. First I saw amaizing results but since then I have just balooned up and I hava a lot of fibrosis. I kind of get a little bit sad because I can't see any results. My surgeon told me that it can take 3-6 months for the surgery to heal properly. Did you notice that this was the case? The surgery was made under light anastecia.
Thank you!
