Severe Burn and Ongoing Complications
HmorgaanDecember 9, 2025
I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I feel a responsibility to share my experience so that others can make fully informed decisions. I traveled to this clinic for chin liposuction and Quantum RF performed by Dr. Sedat Tatar with the expectation of receiving safe, high quality care. Instead, I experienced a severe burn under my chin that took months to heal and has caused ongoing complications that I am still managing.
This was not a typical side effect like mild swelling or temporary firmness. It was a completely avoidable injury that required and continues to require medical treatment after returning home. Because of the burn, I had to undergo multiple steroid injections to control inflammation, fibrosis, and tissue changes that developed as a result of the damage. These treatments were medically necessary and were not something I anticipated needing for these procedures.
Even now, long after the initial injury, I continue to struggle with complications, including new swallowing difficulties that began after developing fibrosis in the exact area of the burn. My results also look worse than they did before the procedure, but my main concern is the ongoing functional impact these complications have had on my daily life.
I want to be clear that I tried to handle this privately and professionally. Because the burn and resulting fibrosis left me far worse than before, I requested reimbursement either for the treatments I needed or for the procedure itself. I was told that any compensation was outside their responsibility, despite the clear severity of the injury and the lasting impact it has had on my health. Although they offered me to travel back to them for treatments, they know this is not realistic. More importantly, after experiencing such a serious preventable complication, I no longer trust Dr. Tatar or the clinic to manage the damage safely.
My intention in writing this review is to be transparent about what happened. A severe burn is not a normal outcome of chin liposuction or Quantum RF, it was completely avoidable, and the long term complications I am still dealing with are life altering. I hope sharing this helps others approach their decision with full awareness and encourages the clinic to reflect on how situations like this are handled in the future.
