Chin/neck Lipo Poor Results + Gaslighting

6/2021 - procedure done, not a terrible experience, drove myself there and back.
7/2021 - First of 2 skintyte laser procedures. Didn’t hurt at all, just a bit warm. Left side seems somewhat improved, but right side looks same. Right is still a little pudgy/liquid-y. Kayleen (aesthetician) says it’s early and will still be getting better for weeks.
10/2021 - Right side does not match left. Left is somewhat improved though not amazing; right is not significantly better than before surgery. Have done 4 (gratis) skintyte treatments but not seeing any improvement. Have developed a couple of lines under my chin that I think are scar tissue/instrument marks but doc says are ‘skin contraction lines’, which the internet has no familiarity with, though scar tissue lines are definitely a thing. Doc is defensive about my being unthrilled. The first time when I said the right wasn’t really different, he just said ‘it is’. The next time I tried to be chipper and compliment him on the bits that did look good and he said the right is ‘just skin’ and approved more laser treatments. 3rd follow-up was yesterday and I was very clear about being unhappy with the asymetry. He claims to be not sure if the bulk there is fat or skin or a ‘large gland’ and is suddenly not promising very much in terms of results, but he did schedule a revision surgery for 11/11/21 and did not charge me much ($550 for the facility costs). I don’t trust him any more, as it was all sunshine and rainbows and nothing to worry about and you’re an ideal candidate and it’ll keep improving, etc. before and just after the surgery. I hope that he’ll fix it.
5/2023 (today) - The asymmetry is better, but 'fixed it' would be a stretch. I think it's fair to say that 2 years is enough time for maximum improvement/reduction of swelling. This whole thing was definitely not worth it. I'll post lots of pictures. They look nothing like the before and afters that Dr. Stern shows prospective patients.
