I definitely see improvement from your earlier pics! Can you tell me who your doctor was? Also curious if people have noticed or asked you about it?

I see a difference but what matters most is that you are unhappy. Can you tell me which doctor it was?

Yours seems similar to mine . I hate to say it but I don't have faith the bump under that iwanted flat will ever disappear. This was total waste of money

7 day update

JewelB

So I’ve become very accustomed to my head garment and don’t find it so annoying anymore. I’m still wearing it 24/7 I only take it off to shower and to adjust it. My stitches fell out on day 5 and my incision is so small. Most of my bruises have gone away thankfully. I still feel swollen which is to be expected because my PS told me that 80% of the swelling will be gone after 1 month so I still have 3 weeks until that. I do however feel like my skin underneath my chin is soft ??????????? Hopefully it tightens up soon. Other than that concern I am happy with my results so far. Very excited to see how it will be at the 1 month mark. I will keep you guys updated.

Only a week, the bruises are barely noticeable and it all looks so natural! Thank you again for continuing to update us all - quite inspiring!

My pleasure! I honestly decided to go through with it because of reading the reviews on this site. So I figure I should contribute too.

Hi JewelB, looking forward to seeing how you are doing at the one-month mark!

Hi JewelB! Thank you for the updates! I can definitely see subtle changes. Looks very natural! I was wondering if you have a before picture from the front? My front view of my chin bothers me more than the side view.

Day 2

JewelB
I’m still very swollen and my bruising is bad but I’ve always bruised easily. The head garment is so annoying I can’t wait to be able to wear it just 12 hours a day. I’m taking Tylenol to help with the pain. I really don’t see any difference as of yet but I guess it’s because I’m swollen. I will do another update in a week.

Wow, big difference already!

Really? Thanks I don’t notice it yet but happy to hear you do.

Huge difference - thank you so much for posting photos! I have a consultation next week but my main questions involve downtime afterwards; how much visible bruising/swelling to expect so I can work out how much time to take off work if I don't want everyone to know.
March 31, 2019
Good luck on your consultation! I will update with pics on Thursday. Today I feel much less pain. It’s only the head garment pushing up against the bruises that hurts. I’m not taking Tylenol anymore though. My bruises are still bad. The worst one is on my throat it’s a deep red. My chin bruise has now turned yellow and the black bruise is still black. But as I was saying I do bruise easy so it’s to be expected for my bruises to take longer to heal. If you can take 2 weeks off it would be best so you can wear the head garment 24/7 but if not you can do 1 week and just use makeup and a scarf or a turtleneck to coverup your neck and chin as much as possible and wear the garment while you’re at home.

Well thank you kindly for the info - that sounds like quite the bruise rainbow you have there! Just got confirmation for my consult, and it seems like I might be meeting the nurse or assistant or something and not the surgeon - I sent them an email asking why. Can I ask if the amount written at the top of the page ($2200) is the total amount you paid? I live near Montreal, and was quoted $2700 cdn (by email) for chin liposuction and thought it was interesting seeing as I hadn't met anyone yet! Anyway, I have a ton of questions to ask whoever I meet during my $80 consult next week and appreciate you sharing your experience on this page! Have you tried anything to help with the bruising? Not sure if it's the same kind of thing, but I slathered my hands with polysporin (triple) and bio-oil after I had the sunspots lasered off the back of my hands and that really helped with the healing process. Good luck, with your recovery!

Good idea about the polysporin I will try it. I also had a consultation with a nurse at a different clinic but I wasn’t happy about that which is another reason that I chose the clinic I went to because the surgeon saw me personally as well as it was a free consultation. I would try to find another clinic as well so you can compare and choose which one you’re more comfortable with. Yes it’s the total in Canadian dollars.

I agree there is a huge difference, even so early on! Looks great! Was it smart Lipo? Also, was it the three incisions or just one?

Thanks it’s good to hear because I don’t notice it yet. It was just regular liposuction with only 1 very small incision.
