Failed Chin Lipo

ORIGINAL POST

Failed Chin Lipo

$3,000
I’ve had CoolSculpting done twice in my submental fat with literally no result. I’ve been researching for years, and after hundreds of doctor recommendations that stated surgical procedures were the only ones to provide real results for submental fullness, I saved and saved for lipo. I had my procedure in May (5 months ago), and my “after” pictures now look the exact same as my before pictures. I had decent initial results when I first took my head wrap off at 72 hours post surgery, but my submental fullness looks the same or worse now than it did before. The amount of money I’ve invested in ridding my body of this trouble area to no avail is just downright depressing. Dr. Gear told me lipo is not magic, and while I know that to be true, it should have produced some results.

Response from Dr. Gear:
I am sorry you are disappointed. Neck liposuction is generally a pleasing operation for the right patient. I try to be as transparent as possible with patients to manage expectations. There are many variables that can affect outcomes including prior liposuction, prior coolsculpting, poor anatomy and BMI.

I see a difference
Yes there was a huge difference at 72 hours post. At five months post, it was almost impossible to tell anything had been done.
