I had been on the site for quite awhile now and have done a lot of research. I have always been a little insecure about my double chin so I decided to do something about it!
I booked a consultation with Dr.Wittenberg. I wanted to have a sharp jawline and a dramatic effect. Initially he suggested I opt for a genioplasty, jaw augmentation and chin/neck liposuction for optimal results. I thought about it for a couple weeks and decided that it may be too invasive and costly to go for the whole package all at once. Since I have a large amount of excess fat under my chin that never seems so go away no matter how much weight I lose, I decided to just start with the chin/neck lipo and see the results.
My surgery was on Dec 17, 2019. I arrived at the office where Dr. Wittenberg performs his procedures.The staff is extremely kind and caring and put me at ease once I arrived. Dr Wittenberg briefed me and marked me up. They prepped me for surgery and brought me into the operating room. The surgery is performed with twighlight sedation. It was fast and painless and I woke up feeling great! One of the nurses gave me an apple juice for the drive home which was super nice. You will definitely need a family member or friend to pick you up from the surgery. I felt a little loopy afterwards.
So far it has been a great experience and I will update my results!
