Chin Lipo.. Not worth it.

It's been 6 months..
$3,366
I wish I never spent the money. It looks like it used to. I haven't gained any weight at all! I'm so disappointed :(
I wish there was something I can do but I'm just at a loss. The only thing my surgeon said I can do is a $18k surgery to adjust my jaw, but I can't trust his word. He said the Lipo would make my double chin go away. Sigh.

A bit depressed
Honestly this whole thing is really making me depressed right now. I went in for the 2 week review and showed them that it was regressing from the immediate after photo I had taken which was perfect and what I wanted. He said it's normal because the skin relaxes a little and that there's no more fat to suck out, that it's all muscle in there.. I was told I'd see an immediate difference but not that it would change for the worse, I thought the swelling would go down and it would be even better than the immediate results.
Also! He said he knew that it wouldn't be flat because he said he felt the muscle the first time he did the exam.. Which he never ever told me. I should have asked what was going to be the result.. But when the surgery is double chin lipo you expect the double chin to be gone completely also going by the before and after lipo pics on his website I don't think my expectations were too high at all. I just spent so much money and I just want to cry because I didn't get what I was told I would (no lore double chin). He said the only way to make it flat now is to spend over 11k getting a jaw surgery and jaw implants! I feel like a fool.
The chin itself does still hurt and feel funny, he said the appearance - might- get better, that it can take up to 4 months for the healing and all to be done. So I'll keep updating, but for now.. I just feel really sad.

Hi. I had mine done 2 years ago. The swelling could take up to 6 months to go down. It will feel funny for a bit. Mine took about that amount. I love my chin. Just give it time. Patience is what you need to focus on having. It's not easy because we are looking in the mirror constantly. Keep your positivity up.
Oh wow I didn't know it could take so long! I'm happy yours turned out much better after the swelling, I'll try to be more positive for sure
Well said
Try not to be discouraged. I think some post procedure depression is normal - not being able to see the final result, wondering if it's worth it, etc..I just wanted to let you know that I had this done in mid March, and it took about a month for me to start feeling better emotionally and also for the swelling to go down substantially/the skin to retract. I'm going to do a review soon. Only just recently am I feeling like yeah it waz worth it and I see a big difference. Wear your strap as much as possible! It really helps.
After 2 weeks my doctor said the strap wouldn't make it better :( but I may start wearing it at night again, it takes the pain away somehow! I'm glad you're seeing improvements though I hope I do too!
My surgeon after 2 months suggested that I start wearing it at night again. I wore for one month 24/7 and still have a lot of swelling and lumps
How is everything going?? I see a great difference in your before and after. I wouldn’t be too discouraged!
Can we get an update ? With pictures !! I’m on day 19, and would love to see how much you’ve improved since!
How are you now? It takes time for the swelling to go down. Keep massaging your neck.

Still waiting for the results to get better, we'll see. I'm going for my 2 week checkup on Monday, so I'll def bring up my concerns then. Does anyone know if it gets better with time? Also this post needs 200 characters and that is crazy crazy crazy crazy annoying

I’m over 2 months out and I still have swelling. I was told it takes at least 6 months to see final results to a year
