I am in my third week post op and I feel like my swelling is finally starting to go down and my definition is coming back. Per my last visit with my doctor, he said I don’t have to wear my compression wrap anymore. However, i do find that it helps with swelling so I have been continuing to wear it at night time.

Progress
Today is my 10th day post op. I have an appointment today to get my stitches removed. I’m still very swollen underneath my chin, but not so much on the sides of my face. My face feels really weird as well, especially if I try to lift my chin up. It doesn’t bother me or anything but it does feel weird! Haha
I’m curious to see the doctor’s reaction to my progress. I plan on asking him when he thinks the swelling will begin to decrease as well as when I can start working out again. I don’t plan to workout intensely but i would like to be able to go on long walks without my head wrap

Hey, I just had lipo to my neck and submental area and a chin implant. I am "v" shaped naturally but now (8 days post) I'm an ugly wide "U"shape. Did you find the swelling went down significantly? Was it wide and then became more "v"? I don't want to stay like this I look so manly.
My doctor said swelling peaks around day 7-10 and then will start to decrease by day 15. I’m still super swollen. My jowl area is very swollen so it’s giving my face the appearance of the U shape from the front angle. But I know when the swelling goes down it will be a V shape because of how my face is naturally. Just trust the process :) there’s no way chin Liposuction will make you look more manly. Swelling just tends to make us look crazy for a week or two but once it goes down then we will look amazing!

Day 5- still swollen
Today is day 5 of my post op. I’m extremely swollen today and I am starting to look like how i did before the surgery. My friend came over and wanted to see what I look like without the compression wrap and she told me that I pretty much look the same. I had to explain to her that I’m still very swollen. If you guys have any tips on how to reduce swelling quickly then please let me know
