Getting Anxiety About my Results

I am 4 weeks post-op and have terrible vertical bands running only on the right side of my neck. It feels hotter on that side of my neck as well. I’ve started massaging every night about a week ago for 20 minutes at a time.. Is it normal to get bands after chin liposuction?

I have the same thing. I'm about 7 weeks out. It is getting better with time but definitely still there. I've read it may be the cannula marks. Have you received any insight from your dr? Thank you!
I've just been told to massage so far. Hope it keeps getting better for you!
You need to massage it, upward strokes and you need to wear your chin brace. It will smooth it out. I slept in mine for 3 months.
Thank you for your advice. So ultimately you are saying that you did indeed have similar streaks that resolved through massage and wearing your strap? I am mostly concerned because on many of the posts you see on realself, people are saying they have this problem around the same time as me (4-6 weeks) but then they have no follow ups afterwards to let us know if their issues resolve.
I have been using nuface mini to massage the lines pretty aggressively and it has helped tremendously. I also stared using Alastin Transform body treatment lotion and I've noticed huge improvement from both.
Alright, thank you so much. Did your doctor recommend this or did you just start doing this on your own? Also, are they completely gone now, or are there still small dimples?
My doctor just said it would eventually go away but it didn't start until I did these things. I went to Tijuana for mine though so prob why my dr wasn't the most helpful.
Ok, thanks so much for the information. I hope you are enjoying the look now!

So glad I found this thread... I'm 7 months post op and my neck bands, lumps and uneveness are still there... i massaged and wore chin strap but no improvement. It looks awful. Do you think nuface mini will still be effective so late after the procedure?
How's it going for you? Any better?
Well it has only been a few days since i created this post. However, I have been wearing my chin strap more frequently, with arnica gel and sometimes a neck tightening serum, and then i massage the troublesome area with a small rolling pin going upwards. I also have been using my shower head for heat therapy. All of these together seem to be slowly working actually.
