20k Later and Little to Show for It

tbh i fear this surgery was a waste of 20 grand. i came in concerned about my double chin. im a healthy candidate, late 20s, active, but have stubborn fat i cannot get rid of at all. my consult was just funny to start because i came in with the chin concern and left with a 50k surgical plan that also included under eye bleph LOL. i obviously didnt agree to this, then they said they would only do the chin lipo if i got fat grafting with it as well. didn’t really make sense to me but whatever they got me to sign up. the surgery was a breeze, recovery wasnt easy though tbh i had lots of residual swelling that took forever to resolve. scars were tiny on my face you can’t tell anything happened at all so that’s nice. the ones in my belly button from the graft are still there after 6 months. they didn’t suggest anything for the swelling there and aftercare only focused on my face, which they did lots of. they told me they took out 100ccs of fat from my neck alone, which seems believable. the neck absolutely definitely looks thinner. but my jawline is virtually identical which is what my biggest concern was going in. there’s a bit more definition but still very chubby and undefined. after 20k you’d think i’d be done. people fly to cheaper cities and pay 6k for better results. i honestly should have done the same. i’m 6 months post op and genuinely have not gained any confidence after the procedure. i’ll attach photos that show there’s a difference on the neck, and they lengthened my chin point, but my overall chin / jawline is virtually the same. none of my friends see a difference at all. especially from the front. i’m considering doing the surgery again elsewhere and using my socials platform to discuss my poor experience. i really wish i had better to say. the team is exceptionally kind. the director is super sweet, i love the admin, and the nurses are just lovely. the place is fancy. i heard he did susan rogers facelift through a colleague. but i can’t in good faith rate this place higher because i just didn’t get the results i asked for and it felt like a money grab every time i came in they tried to sell me something new eg skincare or other treatments. The only reason I’m giving it two stars is because of how nice all the girls (and guys) are, and because Yolanda does a killer lip flip at a good price.
