Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Dr. Rifai and his clinic. I underwent a chin implant procedure and the results were not only unsatisfactory but also harmful. The implant was misaligned, positioned too high, and caused significant nerve pressure, leading to ongoing discomfort. Despite being assured that my requested square-shaped implant would be used, my CT scans proved otherwise, showing clear discrepancies between what was promised and what was delivered.

To make matters worse, my medical records were falsified, and attempts to address the issue with Dr. Rifai and the clinic were met with gaslighting and deflection. Even after raising these concerns with evidence, including CT scans, I was ignored or given vague responses. This lack of accountability and professionalism is unacceptable.

I now have no choice but to spend over $25,000 for revision surgery to fix this botched procedure. This entire experience has been a nightmare, and I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere for cosmetic procedures. Do your research and choose a qualified and transparent surgeon who prioritizes patient care and safety.

I’ve attached my CT scan photos showing how misaligned and high my implant is and how it’s directly sitting over my facial nerve and it’s clear the shape of it is opposite of what I requested. I should add that I have since day one of surgery been dealing with these issues and can feel the implant inside of my gums of my mouth. Do better Birmingham cosmetic surgery!

Oh wow, I feel ya. Even in the frontal shot, the implant looks uneven.
I had one done too and for starters, she put one too big. She kept telling me it was swelling. But after 4 months, I knew something was very wrong. I couldn’t even smile, it looked grieved and the lower lip was almost paralyzed. You could clearly see and feel the implant through the gums. What a nightmare.
At least my doctor was able to redo the implant. Charged for the anesthesia and operating room but not for her labor. I think I shouldn’t have paid for anything, it was clearly her mistake.
Anyway, it’s smaller now but due to having both surgeries, the nevera in my chin are still numb and I’m sad to say my full sensations might not ever come back. I know she did some nerve damage. The implant looks less horrible but my smile has been altered what it seems to be permanently. It’s insane to think you have wasted your life savings to look worse! I don’t even look at myself in the mirror anymore :(
