Final update, looks great and cant complain much, other than minor gum irritation if i poke and prob around the area where the implant makes contact inside my mouth. Will update again if it needs to be revised again, but otherwise content :)

Finally starting to see a lot of the swelling go down, my face is starting to look normal again!! :) I think my final results are going to be incredible!! Was really worried my face wouldnt go back down to normal ever again. Going to keep updating as the days go on. I still have hard lumps of swelling on my jaw and under my chin that will hopefully smooth out in the coming weeks!

We first agreed on a size medium, but when I woke up he said during the surgery he decided to go with a size large. This is probably what caused most of the issues I had with the placement. I also asked him to perform it submentally as opposed to intraorally(his preference) which may have also been a factor.

Thanks, I think the result looks fantastic! Do you ever feel the implant, or are you used to the sensation of a implant now.

Yes, I still feel it inside my mouth along my gumline and it is slightly painful to touch it . I also feel tightness in the morning after sleeping. Generally though I forget its there. Going to do a 1 year post with my Dr. To see if another revision is necessary. Will update as needed

3rd times a charm?

Just endured a 3rd revision and it was major. He took the implant right out to trim the wings down so it wouldnt interfere with my gums anymore. Really hoping that the lump underneathe my chin is just swelling. The other revisions didnt cause it to look like that, but only time and icing will tell. This has truly been more than I bargained for.
