Chin Implant- Surgery Day!

ORIGINAL POST

Surgery Day!

chinplant
WORTH IT$4,800
Today’s the day! Leading up to this everyone asked if I was nervous and I always said no, just super excited. Welp....now with 3 hours to spare I’m extremely nervous. I’ll be doing local with Valium. I’ve never taken it before so I’m very concerned of how I will react wether it’s not enough or too much and I get sick. Crossing my fingers all goes well. See you on the flip side!

Oh man! At least they weren operating. Usually they have a back up generator. Your results look amazing. What size implant did they use?

They did have a generator but it was hooked up to something we needed to use. Still worked out

Round Two

chinplant

Here I am, what should’ve been day 2 is still operating day. I was on the table, drugged up, numbed up, and ready to go and the power went out. The only bright side being that they hadn’t started surgery yet. Hallelujah! I’ll be headed back 1st thing this morning feeling a little more confident now that it’s my 2nd go. I was extremely anxious yesterday and the nurse could tell so she gave me 3 extra shots beyond my pills. They must’ve worked bc I don’t remember them doing the numbing shots around my chin. Fingers crossed the 2nd attempt goes smoothly.

Oh no! I'm so sorry that happened to you. If it makes you feel better that's the kind of luck I have too

Post Op Day 1

The deed is done. We’re now 4 hours post surgery. It was so much easier the 2nd time around. I knew exactly what dosages I needed. They got started and I was awaiting the dreaded part of scraping my bone after reading some other reviews but it wasn’t bad at all. Felt like minutes later it was time to go. I got a large implant and the doctor says he’s very glad we chose that over medium. I knocked out the second I got home but now I’m up and aware without any pain (thank you pain killers). Hoping swelling won’t get too bad as I continue on a 15:45 ratio. Everything below my bottom lip is still very numb from the shots. One part of my sutures is still bleeding a bit. Not sure if this is common.
