Chin implant removal - I feel so relieved

ORIGINAL POST

Chin Implant Removal

Hello everyone, i am writing this in hopes that someone will find it useful. I got a chin implant out in intraorally and it was in for 10 months. At first it wasn’t bad but then i could feel the implant migrating up which bothered my scar in my mouth. It never felt comfortable to touch my chin.

My chin was a little numb but that went away after a few months. Eventually i just got tired of having it in my face and it just felt like my body did not want it in there so i decided to take it out. My surgeon took it out intraorally but this time only put 3 little stitches in my mouth and barely cut through. I was able to smile like normal and i don’t have any chin or lip numbness nor tingling.

My chin just feels a little squishy but i am so happy to have gotten it out and without bad side effects too. It’s only the first week and i mostly feel normal. And I’m barely swollen as well. If you are having issues with your chin implant i would go ahead and take it out. It’s much easier and faster than putting it in. I feel so relieved. But this was just my personal experience
