Chin Implant and neck lipo

I was born with Pierre Robin Sequence which results in a really recessed jawline, making me look like I have no chin. This is something I have been so insecure about for as long as I can remember. When I graduated college I decided it was time for me to look into getting something done about my insecurities so I consulted multiple plastic surgeons about either getting just chin/neck liposuction or getting that paired with a chin implant. After many consultations I decided that a chin implant coupled with neck lipo would be the only way to get me the results I wanted. So fast forward to my day of surgery and everything went very smooth. I woke up feeling more uncomfortableness than pain. Each day that has gone by I've started feeling better and better. I am currently one week and two days post surgery. My bottom left lip and chin are still numb but my lip kind of burns very slightly which I've been told is a good thing and that means that the feeling is coming back in my lip. My chin and neck area also feel tight and I'm still at a point where I can feel the implant in my face, like I can tell it's there. It is getting better and feeling looser and looser everyday but that's something that has been bothering me. I can only tilt my my head so far up without it hurting/feeling weird and tight and strained. The main thing I am struggling with is my smile. When I smile my bottom teeth don't show and my top teeth barely show. It definitely just looks really weird when I try to smile with my teeth. I've looked all of these things up, the tightness, the numbness and the smile and I know I'm not the only one to experience these things and they tend to go away over time and I am still in the very early stages of recovering so I've just got to be patient. I just wanted to hear from some more people who might have experienced some of these same things and just see when others started to feel normal again/how long it's taken for others to get their normal smiles back. Overall I am super super happy with the results I'm just waiting to get my normal feelings me smile back and I'll be even more happy about it!
