27 F Chin Implant

I'm very happy with my progress so far! The tightness and swelling has improved every day. I really noticed the swelling starting to go down after 1 week! My mouth is almost able to open as wide as before surgery and I still have some tightness that limits my head movement.
The stitches also started to dissolve and fall out at the 10 day mark. It was pretty itchy but I tried my best not to touch them! I only have one stitch hanging on.
Once the stitches started falling out the redness of the skin started to subside and it is now pink. I don't see the surgeon for another week (the Thanksgiving holiday pushed it out a few days). Hopefully this last stitch will come out before then so I can start using scar healing gel!
While there was still a lot of swelling I would wear a mask out in public or a large bandaid if eating in public. I stopped wearing a mask once my stitches came out and I feel a confidence boost already!

The surgery went really well and I slept a couple of hours afterwards until the sedatives wore off. I haven't felt much pain, mostly tightness from the swelling. The biggest struggle was that I couldn't open my mouth very far, but that is improving every day.
Today they took my bandages off and I'm very happy with the results so far! My chin is definitely bulbous and boxy due to swelling. The nurse told me that the swelling will be different every day, with some days looking nicer than others. I am set up to come back in two weeks for Dr. Clevens to see the results himself.
I do feel like the swelling may have gotten worse after the bandages came off, so I've been icing the area.
