Exceptional Experience with Dr. Berke Özücer
I recently underwent a medium extended anatomical chin implant with Dr. Berke Özücer in Istanbul, Turkey, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. After years of debating whether a chin implant would enhance my profile, I decided to go forward with the procedure, knowing that if I wasn’t satisfied, removal was always an option. Now, I can confidently say that choosing Dr. Berke was the best decision I could have made.
Before selecting a surgeon, I did extensive research and consulted with surgeons from Ireland, the UK, Belgium, and Germany. While many of them were skilled, I found that some came across as condescending when I asked detailed questions about the procedure, as if I shouldn’t be questioning their expertise. In contrast, Dr. Berke was incredibly enthusiastic, patient, and thorough during our initial 40-minute consultation, happily answering even the smallest concerns I had. That level of engagement made me feel fully informed and confident in my decision.
I also explored other options in Turkey, where many clinics seemed eager to perform any procedure I asked for, but Dr. Berke was different—he prioritizes natural results and patient well-being over profit. When I inquired about additional procedures, he outright refused, cautioning me that obsessing over every minor imperfection could strip away the features that make me, ‘me’. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Berke tested both a small and medium implant, I gave him the discretion to choose whichever he felt most appropriate on the day, and he went for the medium - which looks fantastic. The procedure itself was smooth, professional, and straightforward, and the recovery has been going well so far.
The results have been exactly what I was aiming for, subtle, natural and balanced, without looking overdone or overprojected.
Beyond Dr. Berke himself, his assistant Bü?ra, Betul, and nurse practitioner Ibrahim were also incredibly supportive, professional, and helpful throughout the entire process. From coordinating logistics to answering post-op questions, they ensured everything was smooth and stress-free.
