Still thrilled

KB3D
It has now been seven months since my submental liposuction and chin implant. I’ve also had some skin tightening treatments. Overall, the results have exceeded my expectations and I am so incredibly thrilled!
I did have some left vocal cord damage due to intubation during the surgery which is just one of those unfortunate things and a possible risk during surgery. Basically, my voice has not fully returned and I have a difficult time projecting my voice and singing. I will be undergoing a further surgery to inject a steroid into my vocal cord to hopefully reduce the scar tissue which is preventing the cord from vibrating as it should. I wanted to mention this as I have not read very much from people who have actually experienced some of the risks noted with surgery. Even with this issue, I would have absolutely gone for the surgery. It has been such a boost To my self-esteem and self-confidence to “fix” my chin and neck.
