The week preceeding the tummy tuck I was a complete mess! I was so scared and overwhelled. Yesterday morning before surgery I was in tears and sweating. The nurse came me some valum, that calmed me done. After that the rest is blurry. I woke up 3 hours later and surgery was over, and I felt pretty good. I was able to leave the surgey center with in a hour. My husband and I stayed at a hotel. Honestly besides feeling like I did 1000 situps I felt great. I am heading to my 1 day post.of in 2.5 hours, and I will get to see my my tummy for the 1st time. I will post an up date after ????

I am feeling good (: staying on my pain pills. I am up and around quite a bit. I can do most everything unassisted. I read so many tummy tuck stories on here, most saying how painfull it was. I wanted to get my story out there to let people know it is not always like that! My dr. Said I might be able to get the drains out friday! I only got a quick view of my tummy the day after surgery, but next appointment I will get a pic and post it ????

I am feeling great! The only problem I have came a cross is some constipation, but some smooth move tea and milk of magnesia really helped. I have been off all pain meds since yesterday morning, and my head is clear and I am not so sleepy. I am not draining much so the Dr said 1st thing monday I can get them out. Yay (: honestly the worst part about the whole process is making myself stay down. I am normally so active, but I am really trying! I finally have a pic to show. So far I am very pleased!!

You had a full TT with muscle repair ? I am contemplating doing the surgery end of May but of course so so nervous! I am ver active like you and only have loose skin, gym 4-5xs a week so pretty fit :). After reading your experience I am leaning more towards doing it, I hope I have the same outcome as you!

Yes full tt with muscle repair. I think being healthy and active was a huge plus for me! I was beyond terrified before. I actually backed out 3 times. Now I wish I would have do it years ago. I am amazed at how little pain I have experienced. Being in good health makes things much easier!! You should go for it! I will keep posting updates, and if you have any questions feel free to ask (:

I swear yours is one of the first reviews I read that you were in not gut wrenching pain.. Lol. Glad you are doing well! And I am going to my PS on Thursday next week with a list of questions and will most likely book it for May 29th!! Thanks for responding! Good luck with the rest of your recovery and I will keep checking your profile for updates :)

Good luck to you as well! Just goes to show that every experience is different. A good friend of mine had a tt with muscle repair 8 months ago, and she had a great experience also. She cossfits with me and eats very healthy. My adivce is to not over research! I made that mistake and drove myself crazy lol.

oh I'm sorry your sad about your scar :( That's a big fear of mine too, being too high because I keloid scar. In all of my research I've noticed them dramatically lowering. I also work out avidly and can't wait to get it "look" in shape when I have been! I have my tt scheduled for july 29. You look AMAZING and I love your belly button!
