He has been absolutely wonderful! He is kind and makes you feel so comfortable. His staff are warm, welcoming, and pay great attention to detail. The surgery center he uses is right next door. They are also amazing. I mentioned that I get sick from pain pills easily and that I get extremely car sick. With that information the nurse did everything to keep me from getting sick! I got a patch behind my ear to wear for 3 days and some meds in my iv. I never got sick!! I just can't say enough good things about Dr. Thomas, his staff, and the surgery center!!

Looks great! I will be the same way, counting down until I can work out.. Lol
Thank you! I can't wait to work out again. It is driving me crazy.
You look great !:) it's driving me crazy not to be able to workout too!
Thank you! I feel like I am getting all flabby lol... anything ia worth this flat tummy though (:
How did it go when you went back to CrossFit? I am 4 weeks post op (waiting to get back to CrossFit) and am really wondering how my muscle repair will hold up to the WODs.
I have a review on here as well, and dr. Thomas is one of two surgeons I'm considering. So far yours is the most informative review I've found. Did you consult with any other plastic surgeons? You look great sorry about the scar placement but it looks very thin and even.
Oh and could you give your stats please? :)

two week post op appointment today

appointment went good. My ps said everything looks good and I am healing well. I did get an answer as to why my incision is high. I didn't have enough skin to pull it down far enough for a low scar... oh well my tummy is flat and I tend to scar well. Over all I am doing well. Every day I get a little better, it is just a long healing process. By the end of the day I am pretty swollen and my abs are very tight/uncomfortable. I have switched from the garment I wore home from the surgery center to spanks during the day, which is much more comfortable. I am standing much more erect, but not 100%. One thing I do encounter quite often in my abs contract on their own to a point where it is like a burn from an intense workout. It gets worse the more I do. My ps said it is very normal, and if I lay down it goes away. Other than that my incision seems to be healing well. The tape is starting to fall off in a few places, and from what I can see the scar forming is thin. I do miss working out terribly! I feel my muscle I spent the last year building fading away, but I will get it back when I am cleared to workout :) anything is worth having a flat tummy!! I will post pictures from my phone in a following update.

Your work looks really good! I hope you felt good about it! After 2 years since your last post, I am curious, are you still happy with your results? I ask because I live in Redding & I have an appointment with Dr. Thomas next Thursday. You seemed to be healing well so I hope things have come along nicely for you!
