I was really worried originally about doing my problem areas. Which were my lower back, upper abdomen, bilateral inner thighs. My husband told me that I looked great and should stop worrying. I of course didn't listen to him. After my surgery, I didn't remember a thing. I was really sore after about an hour and a half. I would recommend getting your prescriptions filled early as possible. Mine were not so I had to wait and then take them. The first day or so was the most painful. After a day or so the leaking had stopped. I wore a sun dress with out the pads to catch leaking. Not a good idea. Smh so don't do that. I'm a month out with very minimal pain and still some swelling in the inner thighs. Overall I'm very happy with my results so far. Can't wait to see how things are once the settle

Hi there, and welcome! Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I hope you'll get lots of support and post op tips from the community. Do you have any before and after photos you'd be willing to add?

I have to see if the office manager can email them to me.

I had inner knees, inner thighs, upper & lower abs, and flanks done June 12 by Dr. Truong. I don't remember a single thing after I was given the Dixie cup of pills to take after the Valium. They arranged their car service for me, which I also don't remember going home in, and after I got home about 1pm I laid down and didn't wake up until 2:30 am. My pads were pretty wet so I changed them but the draining had already stopped. I was tender and sore but not in pain and didn't have to take any pain pills. Are you still wearing your garment? At my 2 week followup he said I didn't HAVE to wear it anymore but could if I wanted to. I don't. My legs are still a bit tender but nothing like they were. Have you seen a noticeable difference yet? I have, in certain spots. I will no doubt have to go back for a revision because he didn't go down far enough on my flanks and now I have a pudge on each side. I would also like to have my outer thighs done, and in time, my upper arms. I like Dr. Truong very much.

I wear spanks or some work out shorts those help me tremendously. For your thighs you can massage from the from the inner knee up to the crouch a couple time a day with your side of you hand without using your fist or fingers. It may get sore a little bit but that helped my lumps. I had to watch doing it at work though. Lol people have dirty minds lmbo

I was wearing elastic knee bandages for awhile but stopped; they kept rolling down and it was annoying. A couple weeks ago I had one of those lymphatic massages that a lot of people on here write about but it didn't do a thing except lower my wallet by $80, LOL. Dr. T doesn't think much of lymphatic massages either---I mentioned it to him last week at my 6 wk followup. If I had known it was just more like a tickle massage I would have just done it myself, and now when I think of it, I do it myself. I just feel lucky that I didn't have all the pain and even burns others have written about. It's interesting how drs in different regions do the same procedure differently. Some have drains, some have general anesthesia, some are so wrapped up in bandages, and some are told they have to wear the garment for months. I'll be glad when all the swelling goes away.
