Your skin doesnt look bad! Certainly, not bad enough gor accutane. I had 6 LG treatments and then 2 years later a series of 3. I loved it! Zero downtime and non invasive. It sorta just tightens and brightens! Great right begore a party or special occasion. But its not really going to "change" your pores. They do get a bit tighter and overall skin looks good temporarily...They are pretty costly. I found a great price from a highly resoected dermotologist at !200.00 each. Are your large pores your biggest concern? If so, a laser or a chemical peel is your best option. But like i said before, use the PC 2%bha daily and u will be surprised!

Hi there I am just reading your post, my pores were very large too and although I have to be honest, they will never go away however u CAN minimize them quite a bit. I agree with the Paula's choice pore refiner, it does work great, along with retin A. Also another product from Sephora I have found to have helped quite a lot is the "Sunday Riley" slip clay cleanser. It really does help clean and shrink your pores. It did for me anyhow.

Also, my mom, me and my two sisters have ALL been on accutane and it really does work, and usually after the 4-6 months of the initial full treatment u can stay on a low dose of accutane like 10-20 mg every week and it just Maintains all that u have gained. So a lot of people are against accutane but it really does work, it gets worse before better, and it is NOT as horrible as people make it out to be

I agree with alpainferno...sorta. You have large pores. you need to do all you can to clean and tighten. You will be surprised at what you can accomplish on your own. A prescription strength retina a. Tazorac is a great one! If you cannot get a prescription, a high end OTC will work, just not as good. Retina a a does resurface and speeds up cell turnover but it is not an exfoliant. Get Paula's choice 2% BHA liquid. It works better than any other salicyclic acids bc it doesn't have any irritants in it like alcohol or menthol that so many of them do. If you get irritation, use retina a every other night and work up to every night. Make sure to gently cleanse your skin morning and night, extra good. In the morning the the Paulas choice Resist pore refiner. It has a water like consistency, so its great for daytime bc it is not sticky. Also a good vitamin c serum applied after, then a non oily sunscreen. Studies show that when you combine retina , vitamin c and bha, they work together and better. be gentle with your skin, and always always wear sunscreen!

I have a problem with large pores also and this is what I DO . First I use OLAY REGENERIST FACE WASH AND then I use the whole nitrogen a pore refining kit. Day and night. After this i use retinol . I you've after this my skin looks so HEALTHY and much smoother in appearance to the eye. I've only being doing this for about a week

I had 6 laser gensis treatments, and I seen very little improvement on my pore size.
