Hi All,

Hope everyone is doing well! I saw Dr. Shah last week for my 6 month post op and he said I still am 20% swollen. He opted out of giving me an injection because he wants it to go down naturally and with it being summer we tend to be more swollen. I am definately very happy with my results and can breath out of my nose 100% now. But I am super excited to see the tip more refined :)

All my friends have come on board with how much they love my results though most people have no idea I had surgery unless I show them a before and after picture.

iam 3 months and my nose 2 much swellen :( iam fried this is my final result but when i saw ur pics after 6 months i saw a big different>
Oh yes, dont panic! Your nose is most def still swollen. It will continue to gradually go down over the coming months, even at my 6 month check up Dr. Shah said I was still 20% swollen. You'll notice a huge different in the next few months :)
Dr. Shah really is an artist :) I wish there were more reviews with pictures! Yours is one of like, five or so. Soon I will be added to the list of reviews with pictures. It just seems he doesn't have very many compared to some surgeons - and being one of the best, if not THE best in the mideastern part of the states, it just seems odd. I would have gone to Grigoryants in California, as his work is also good, and he has a TON of positive reviews (WITH PICTURES!). And hey, I'd LOVE to sit on a beach prior to my surgery, lol, but the guy is WAY overpriced. So I'm okay with going to Chicago instead to an equally awesome surgeon. I just have to pass up the beach (and look past the fact that he has less reviews)! I'm glad Shah does Skype consults for his patients not in the immediate area. It really is convenient :) I think you were so beautiful before, but your face is in much more harmony now, and you look more sophisticated than you did before. Supermodel material :)

I didn't see many reviews posted under Dr. Shah directly on RealSelf either but take a look through the rhinoplasty reviews and you'll find more girls that went with Dr. Shah and they had pictures. 5 Months Post Op

Hello,

I thought I'd put up a quick pic and update you. Last month I went and saw Dr. Shah and he put an injection into the tip of my noise which I was happy about. About a week after I noticed the tip was finally getting somewhat refined. It's now been a few weeks and my tip looks about the same and tonight I noticed one side feels like there is a little bump in it. Could just be swollen from something so I decided to tape it tonight (I stopped taping right after the 3 month mark). Overall I am very happy! Still cannot wait to see it when the swelling is totally gone.

I really love your new profile! I have a question, I had my surgery 10 days ago and yestersay I noticed there's a bump on the bridge, but it wasn't there two days ago, is that normal? Will it dissapear? Thanks!
Hi, Sorry I just saw this. It probably has gone away by now for you but yes, I had a bump on the side of my nose. It was just how the swelling was going down.

Posted a new pic... a little over 3 months post op, breathing is better, still swollen and the tip is still tender but getting better.
