Hi all! Just wanted to share some make-up free/non-professional selfies to show the nose without any shadowing cast from photoshoot lights & in the absence of makeup contouring

A few more pics to illustrate tip definition :)
Here are a few more photos showing my tip and nasal width definition. I asked Dr. Shah specifically for the supratip to be distinct from the rest of the nose so it casts a natural shadow in photographs. I wanted to not have to contour all the time and be able to go makeup free for work and have this aesthetic in pictures without any extra makeup so I definitely think the surgery was the right choice for me. All these shoots were about a week ago

It's beautiful!

It looks very similiar to Ciara's nose after she had her rhinoplasty . I love the tip position and style . So feminine , so pretty. Adds so much sexy appeal. Congrats !

Sorry I accidentally posted my comment in the general thread, but here it is again ^_^: Awww thank you! I love that you mentioned Ciara because I definitely showed Dr. Shah pictures of her nose (among about a zillion other celebs) that I really liked. I wanted something that would blend naturally with my face in total harmony, and something that would let my other features like eyes stand out more. I absolutely love it and it has saved me so much timmeee oh man. So many hours of my life I get back lol

I love your nose :) And I love the hair, so pretty and thick. Congrats on the modeling career. That's exciting :)

Thanks so much!! :) It's very fun but as with everything, it has its challenges. At least now those don't include a bad makeup day or feeling insecure -_- If being in this industry has taught me anything, it's that there's beauty in everyone, it's just easier to see it when people are confident enough to let you see it. I have met so many men and women with such unique faces, many of whom the general public would not regard as "conventionally attractive"--and I definitely fall under that category in many markets--but the necessities that enable a person succeed in a world of rejection is confidence and a healthy self-esteem. I think it's always a work in progress but it has become soooo much easier with this nose! ^_^

I think you're very gorgeous and the tip refinement was a very smart choice. You look beautiful :) And your case is what plastic surgery should be all about: an enhancement to your features. You have nothing to feel insecure about :) Congrats on the modeling and your success! This is exciting to see :)

Thank you! I think it's really added a lot of harmony to my face and I'm much more confident now, which I think is really what has helped me the most in my career

Was your nose a primary or revision?

February 15, 2017
Unfortunately, it was so so long ago (I had my primary like ten years ago, I was in my mid teens when I got it) that I don't even remember his name or have any photos on my laptop, butttt it didn't really look that different from before because I had a functional rhino/septoplasty for breathing issues only. As in, he asked me as I was going under anesthesia if I wanted anything done aesthetically and I was like "wait, what, that was an option...?!" but pretty much konked out before I could even think about it lol. I think my primary surgery made my nose look worse than before actually, because I was left with major asymmetry from the outside.

I don't mind at all! I'm 29 now, had my revision procedure with Dr. Shah last year in March (was 28 then) and my first procedure to fix my deviated nasal septum when I was 18 at the end of high school.

Some clearer pictures
Hey all, some of you beautiful RealSelfers asked for some clearer full pictures, so here they are! Also, something I forgot to mention but that you'll also probably be able to see in the pics is that my skin has cleared up tremendously--I think this has to be due to the dramatic decrease in amount of makeup I use day to day, because I haven't changed anything else--except I'm waaayyyy more confident so the stress reduction probably helps!!
When I go out, I still use eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick, and occasionally a spot concealer/beauty mark and foundation and a touch of blush, but for the most part (other than what a makeup-artist puts on me when I'm on set--which I now have no fear over b/c I don't have to contour!) I go makeup free (cut down my routine from 1.5/2 hrs average to 15-20min!?! AMAZING). It's been an incredible time-saver no doubt, but also I think it's cleared up because now my skin doesn't mix with my ridiculously oily skin (lovely -_-) and block my pores/erupt in acne that leaves scars and indentations. In short, my operation has had this amazing side-effect of clearing my skin up just by virtue of much less makeup needed. You can see in one picture I posted how I used to do my makeup (heavvvvy makeup with a crazy cut contour on my nose--why did I even think that looked good?!) and how I do it now (super minimal).

*edit--I meant now makeup doesn't mix with my oily skin lol. Also, by foundation, I mean BB or CC cream (essentially tinted sunscreen)
