WORTH IT$4,000
I had a revision rhinoplasty with Dr.Shah nearly 2 years ago. My first rhino was performed by a different doctor whom I will not name here. Before my first rhino, my nose was bulbous, asymmetric, and a bit on the larger side. Following the initial rhino, I hate even more asymmetry, alar retraction, and a droopy tip among other issues. Needless to say I was not happy with the results, but hesitant to have another procedure.
I had two consultations with Dr Shah before undergoing the revision. I was nervous about looking even more different than I already did, so my goal was to maintain the current overall look of the nose while fixing some of the asymmetry and issues I had with the tip. Dr Shah understood my nervousness about undergoing a revision and was on board with taking a more conservative approach.
The results of the revision were not perfect, but definitely an improvement. Since the surgery, I have had numerous follow-ups with Dr Shah to discuss minor changes that can be made to get me closer to my end goal. I have had two in office procedures, one a filler injection and another a fat injection on the side of my nose where too much cartilage was removed by the first doctor. I will likely have another fat injection later this summer.
All of the follow ups and in office procedures were included in my initial cost. (Note that my cost is an estimate as it's been 2 years, it might have been even less, I just remember that it was very reasonable. ) I typically do not write reviews, but am writing one after 2 years due to the ongoing support and follow ups from Dr Shah. He has not made any money off of the 10+ follow-ups and in office procedures, which I truly respect and appreciate from a doctor. Dr Shah will continue to see me until I'm happy with the end result. He has even advised against a third surgery (which he would make money on) because he believes the risk to reward is not there and he believes he can get me close to what I want with some minor in office tweaks.
I do not feel comfortable posting pictures online, but I'd be more than happy to answer any direct questions.
Some other considerations:
-The reviews about the long wait times can be true. Call ahead and see if he is running on schedule
-His follow-up appointments are quick and direct. He will definitely answer any questions, but these appointments typically do not last longer than 5-10 minutes. If you want more time to review photos and talk about next steps, make sure to let his staff know when you book the appointment and they will note this.

Truly, I love reviews like yours because we are meant to know that there are still Doctors out there who are not only honest but also compassionate. My doctor sunnil choudary (an indian) has never made an attempt to communicate with me since one year ago. I've moved on because going back to him would be disastrous. I had consulted different doctor who felt he was too aggressive with my nose. Already I've found a doctor who has agreed to do the reversion in july. Pls do keep us posted. Goodluck!
