Breast Lift & Tummy Tuck

Hi everyone. I am thrilled to share my experience...

Hi everyone. I am thrilled to share my experience with whom ever is interested. I hope my story will help motivate anyone who's scared/indecisive about a mommy make over.
I'm 34 years old 5'7 and weigh 135. In my late teens to early 20's I was overweight and wore a size 16 in pants that were uncomfortably tight! I lost the weight but never had a flat tummy nor perky boobs. After having both my children back to back I worked really hard to lose the weight and tone. However, the extra skin around the belly and the deflated boobs from breast feeding both my children has not improved. It got to the point where I couldn't let my husband see me naked and was always paranoid he'd walk into the room while getting dressed. Life became almost impossible for me with the constant struggle of finding the right bras or shape wear. Thankfully my darling husband has been supportive. He's stated, "that if it's that important to me then it is important to him and we will find a way to make it work." We both believe that happiness comes from within. And we both are happy but life has become difficult for myself with the way my body has changed. We decided a tummy tuck with a breastlift would be best for me.
Dr. Clark Schierle was referred to me by a dear friend. I was so nervous to let a "stranger" take a look at my droopy breasts. Dr. Schierle immediately made me feel at ease. He took his time with me and was completely present, attentive, informative and compassionate with my concerns. I felt such a great connection with him that by the end of the appointment I seriously could care less if he saw me completely naked. I met him and scheduled the appointment for surgery within two weeks. I just knew he was the doctor for me. I've seen other PS for consults before and often felt like just a number and not a person. For me, connection is important. Dr. Schierle and I even shared our kids photos and giggled about parenting and all the joys that children bring. He's honest and overall just a great human being who truly cares about his patients and wants to help them be happy with themselves. I never even had a second opinion. I followed my gut and went with him! Here are some before and after pics. It's been 48 hours now since the surgery. I will continue to post more pictures. There's a few concerns with my nipples because they seem to be pointing down a bit. I emailed Dr. Schierle and he responded within minutes and addressesd my concerns. Basically my breasts will go through many changes and we really won't know the final outcome until about 2-3 months. I'm ecstatic with the shape at this point. More will be revealed as time passes.

I'm a little concerned with my breasts. They seem like they can definitely be a bit tighter and nipples higher. I hope this can be corrected in due time. Also they fall to the side while laying down but my PS said this can be fixed.

Your tt looks beautiful. Looks like you got a little vertical scar which will heal and fade. Yes, I do see your boobs falling to the side. I'm guessing it's because you got just the lift without implants to provide fullness. You can always add the implants later (3 to 6 months post), if you're not happy with the boobs results after healing. You're still very early on in the healing process (only 4 days), so your body will still go through a lot of changes. Hang in there, give it time and then decide how to proceed later. All the very best :)))))))

Hi there! Thank you for your comment and support. Yes I am confident that in the end all will turn out better than I could have ever imagined. After speaking to my PS he reassured me that these minor things can be fixed and will be once all is healed:). Thanks again! So great to hear feedback from others:):)

Recovery from the TT has been no walk in the park but well worth it! I am so pleased with the way my TT turned out. But, I am very emotional this evening because my breasts seem to have sagged more and now I'm really wishing I just went with implants. I cannot stand to look in the mirror with saggy breasts. Also, my right breast looks lop sided a bit which Dr. Schierle said that can be fixed. I really hope they will look better after some adjustments. I've seen tons of photos of women who've gotten great results from just a lift. Why do mine seem to still sag? Maybe it's my skin that's too stretchy? Anyone else have this problem?

Hope you're feeling better today :) Beautiful tt results!!! Glad to hear you're healing well. May I suggest you look specifically at women who've had the implants with lift so you can see if that's an option for you. I've yet to see a perky lift without implant that has lasted - there seems to always be a little sag after several weeks and hardly any upper pole fullness. It's awesome that your surgeon is willing to work with you so you're satisfied! Feel better soon :)))

You look so good. Your stomach is amazing. Dr. S. was my surgeon too. Give your girls a little bit more time. I'm 8 weeks post op and he told me that I am still healing and can expect changes.

Take it from me, you are much better off with a lift only. I got implants in May of last year, and it was a terrible mistake. You look great. You are much too hard on yourself. Your breasts look natural and youthful. Just do some research on breast explants and you may feel better about it.

Thank you! Yes I am happy I did not opt to go with implants at this time. I'm sorry to hear you're not happy with yours:(. Thanks about the explanats suggestion!
