Day 1 Post Op

Day 1 is here, as I mentioned before, Dr.Memar only did enough lipo to make my arms proportional to my body. not to have drastically small arms. so in my opinion, he did amazing!
I didn't imagine I would be in this much pain, but it definitely subsided since yesterday. I have been in movement to help with the inflammation, and been on a light diet. I stopped taking the Vicodin I was prescribed due to not being able to keep my food down. I switched to ibuprofen every 6 hours. wound care hasn't been complicated at all. I have maybe 6 incision sites (holes, really) I've had to care for. the ones at my elbow drained quite a bit but it couldn't have been more than 300cc total. I havent "leaked" since yesterday night. other than all of this, I have been okay. I've had someone help me around with my daughter, and dressing. but I've been pretty independent as far as hygiene and toilet care. I will update next week! and as promised, here are post surgery pictures!

I DID IT! They are gone.

I finally had my liposuction of my arms. and I am in PAIN. I was prescribed Vicodin but it is too strong for me. it will not let me keep anything down. not even a simple soup. def something I have to talk about with Dr.Memar.
Surgery was awesome. I was having a legit conversation with Dr.Memar while I had him thrusting the liposuction tube in my upper extremeties. I am bruised up, but I didn't expect anything less. I may have had stubborn fat in some areas. and I am in pain. I am trying to do ADL's so j can gain mobility faster but it hurts. I'm excited for my results. photos will be up soon when I take a shower and wash my garment.

Here I go! it's about time I got rid of these...

Here I go! it's about time I got rid of these hereditary babies. I was lucky enough to find it on Groupon, and it's now or never. Dr. Memar said it will be successful, and if there is left over skin, he will use my previous incision site to bring in the extra skin when the time comes. Im not looking for extremely small arms, but I am looking to have arms that are proportional to my body; something that has never been under my control.

Here are my BEFORE pictures, so I will post more the day of after surgery. WISH ME LUCK!
