26 Year Old No Kids Significant Weight Loss When Younger

I have worked out my whole life. I lost about 75lbs from 15-16 yrs old and I've been working to get a flat stomach since then. I've never been able to achieve my desired look with eating healthy and working out alone, and believe me, I've done everything. At 26 I decided that I was tired of waiting for results that might never come so I opted for liposuction of the abdomen, flanks, and lower back. I was extremely worried about the "bad outcomes" that I've seen on realself and the ones I've read about. But I knew this was something I needed to do to be more confident and happy with myself. I still love the gym and can't wait to get back, but this outside help was much needed.
I had the liposuction of the abdomen, flanks, and lower back about 4 days ago. It was SO MUCH MORE PAINFUL than what I had been expecting. For any of you that have had a breast augmentation, that was nothing compared to the pain of lipo. On a positive note, that gives me excellent motivation to never let it come back because I don't think I'd be able to do it again.
Anyway, I'm doing much better than my first 3 days. I have minimal bruising and I'm mostly just stiff and sore all over my abdomen. I LOVE my results so far, so I hope that my body continues to get better as the swelling goes down. If you have any questions feel free to ask! I'll post updates as more time passes!

Love the results so far! Day 4 PO. I have difficulty controlling my breathing after taking the binder off. I'm not sure why. I think it's because my body just feels weird, but it's causing me to get nauseous and almost pass out each time. Hopefully this gets better soon! This makes showering very difficult!

You’re not meant to take your garment off at all for the first 3 days and after that only 5 min a day for showering max. Before you take it off have a sugary drink to prevent you from fainting x

You look amazing!!! How many liters did they take out?

I was pretty out of it at the time he told us (right after surgery), but I think he said 5-6 Liters. Which I guess was a lot for someone my size because he told my husband he got more than he thought he would. Hope this helps (:

Day 6 PO

BlondeBombshell26
Morning of day 6 I've finally been able to tolerate the liposuction discomfort without taking any more pain medication. Thank God! My lower back pain is probably still the most discomfort I'm feeling right now, but it's just discomfort and not excruciating pain! Lol. The swelling below my arms has finally gone down as well, I'm going to post two pictures from Day 2 of the under arm swelling and I'll post a follow up later. I've been using an Arnica Gel that I got off of Amazon and it seems to really be helping the bruising subside. I'm only post op day 6 so I think I'm doing pretty well. I only take my binder off to shower, which is a very quick experience, and then I'm right back in it 23.5/7 Haha. I haven't noticed additional swelling on my abdomen yet, but I am expecting the fluctuation so we'll see. More Updates later!

I have considerable bruising on day 3 of post op of tumescent lipo. The doctor instructed me Not to take my binder off until my follow up and just to do sponge bath.

Hi KayPet!
I have minimal bruising as well after tumescent lipo. The bruising under my arms was almost all I had. Thank God! I'm PO Day 8 now and showering is much more simple. I definitely recommend the Arnica Gel, though! My first Post Op appt with my doctor was 24 hours after my initial surgery and after I saw him he gave me the okay to shower. Woot!
