WORTH IT$13,000
Growing up, I was the thick girl in my family and among my classmates. My legacy of learned unhealthy eating habits and stress eating caused me to weigh 268 at my highest and on my 5'5" frame gave me a BMI of around 44. Surgery was performed on 11/24/2014 and in 3 months I lost 45 lbs. This is one of the best decisions I have made.

A Day in the Life...
As a plus size woman most of my life, I have never been short of confidence. With my now 52lb weight loss & my BP under control without medication, my confidence has since gone thru the roof. There is nothing better than freedom from Lisinopril. I am luving it !!!!

My doctor suggested it for me today and I'm researching I'm 4'11 weighing over 250lbs with sleep apnea and high blood pressure, I think I'm going to go for a consultation now.

I have been considering this weight loss option and take lisinopril myself. It's good to hear good feedback.

How inspirational! My weight maintenance effort has been a struggle since finishing a grueling work training/internship constantly moving. After moving on to a desk jobs and money for eating away from home the pounds have piled on and get harder to keep off each diet or program. Thanks for sharing your journey! It helps me educate myself about options. I am interested in the band because I am BMI between 30 and 40 with only high blood pressure. I think it could be a tool to promote portion control adherence so I improve chances of success. Was that your impression on using the Lap Band?
Thank you so much for sharing your opinion about your doctor.
I would love to add your experience to the Lap Band community, but it would be helpful if you could provide some more detail about your experience with your procedure/treatment. This will mean we can add your review to the topic and it will bring more people to your page, giving you more support. I suggest adding before and after photos - optional of course - so that other community members can use your review as a guide throughout their journey.
