Facelift 6 Years Later-Age 66

Still liking my results-may need a bit of tightening in a couple years for minor jowling but my neck is tight and smooth.

Still happy with my decision to have a FL! This coming February will mark 6 years since my surgery with Dr. Shah. I do add some filler in the nasal folds, upper cheeks, and lips 2x a year, along with some Botox in the 11’s and forehead. I continue to use Retin A and Skin Medica products, but that’s it for skin care.

I remember you well, and can’t believe it’s been six years already. You still look gorgeous which is a testament to both your natural beauty with which you started, and the skill of your surgeon. I too use the filler in nasolabial folds and lips and around my jowls. I also use Retin A to keep my skin looking good. And of course, the most important thing of all, sunblock. I really am ready for a lift and I remember thinking I would use your pictures as my wish pictures. I still plan on doing just that!

I love that you included postop photos for so many years out. It is so difficult to find people's before and after photos with long-term results beyond one year, but so important for people to see them in order to make an informed decision about the investment in a facelift. Your results still look beautiful, you look amazing and significantly younger even six years later than you did prior to surgery. Congratulations on a wonderful result. And by the way, you have a fantastic hair!

About 3 years post FL, I did laser on the face, brutal recovery, but the results were great. I use .10 Retin A, and Skin Medica TNS serum and their neck correct cream. That’s about it. I use Retin A 1-2x a week. It’s pretty strong, and I get really flaky skin about 3-4 days later. I was also using my NuFACE 3-4 times a week when I remember. I may try Morpheus 8 this winter to smooth out some old acne scars around the mouth. My daughter had 2 treatments and is having her 3rd next week at Dr. Shah’s office. She is 31 and loves the results! Pricey-$1100 a treatment. She had acne scarring on her cheeks and wow- her skin looks super smooth.

I am having CO2 laser along with a SMAS FL soon and am very concerned about the laser recovery. Can you describe?

5 1/2 years Post Facelift
Just a quick update 5 1/2 years later. Still happy with my results. Not having to do much now-just a bit of Dysport in the forehead and filler in the nasal folds and the chin to even out some old acne scars! One of my best decisions and investments in me. I’m 65. :)
