1 Month Post-Op
I'm one month post-op now. I feel like I still have a lot of swelling but I like the results so far. It looks like a miniature/refined version of my old nose. It does swell up noticeably when I drink alcohol (even 1 drink), eat more than 1000mg of sodium, and the one night where I forgot my tape.
As for symmetry, it gets much more symmetrical as it heals. Both nostrils are the same width and height now.
I've been really stuffed up for the past few weeks, and had some minor nosebleeds the past couple days. I'm thinking they're probably because I took some decongestants to fly and it dried out my nose too much, and the plane air is dry to begin with.
My skin was super oily about 1 week out from surgery to the point where makeup would just slide off my face. I started breaking out the worst I ever have since I was around 14 years old, so I went to a dermatologist and he gave me a cream to use that has wiped out most of the acne and oiliness. I can't imagine what my skin would look like otherwise right now.
I still have some stitches falling out here and there, but for the most part it finally feels almost normal. Tomorrow is my 1 month followup with Dr. Shah and I'm wondering if he'll give me an injection for the swelling.
Today I'm updating my review to "worth it"... even though the recovery hasn't been the most fun thing I've ever done, the results are good and the amount paid was very reasonable.

Great results. So relieved.
I got my splint off today. The pinched nostril was only that way because of the splint inside my nose, and as soon as he removed it the opening started turning a normal shape. I have to say, the most painful part of the whole recovery was getting stitches out. Even though the tip is still swollen it looks great. It just looks like my old nose shrunk in size all around, but with more refinement in the tip. Even if it stayed just the way it is right now I'd be happy with it, especially considering how freaked out I was the past couple days.
I'm really impressed so far and can't wait to see what it'll do over the next couple months. It looks great but it's still a huge adjustment to look at mirrors and see the change.

Uh oh (again)
My nostrils have decided to shape shift once again, even from their state from this morning's post. The entire base of my nose is looking really bazaar as it gets less swollen today. One nostril looks extremely pinched and comes to a point while the other is larger and flattened out. I wouldn't care about it so much if it was only noticeable from the bottom, but right now it's very noticeable from the front too. For the first time I am genuinely freaked out and upset. It looked so much better this morning... I just don't know what to expect.. If my final results are closer to how it is currently, I would seriously look awful and be so embarrassed. Especially because the openings of my nostrils were symmetrical and a nice shape before. I can't even sleep, I'm so anxious.

Overall I had a good experience. I got the results I laid out in the beginning. He was able to translate my wants into images and ultimately my new nose. I had a quick recovery with very minimal bruising. The staff has good followup with calls and emails. I only didn't like the wait time the first time I went in for consult, but it was one of his last appointments of the day. Otherwise the wait was pretty typical of any doctors office. I would recommend him to a friend.
