My pain was there the first 4 days. The recovery is no joke. I won't sugar coat it but by day 5 I felt so much better

Silly... weirdo question. Where do I park when I go to my consult? LoL!!!! Is there a parking structure? Ive heard Chicago is Nucking Futz to drive thru.... LoL

There is a garage it's $26 to park. Or you can drive around the building and look for pay to park on the street

If your appointment is less than an hour you can go to treasure island grocery store in the same building and buy something and they will validate your ticket for 8 I believe

Welp.... I plan on having my husband drive me straight home the 3 hours. (And really hoping that Dr Shifrin will let me do my post op~ when I’m ‘able’ to make the 3 hr trip back there. LoL

You should book a night close by. He needs to see you 24 hours after to take off bandages. I had surgery at 3pm and I saw him by 12pm the next day. Then he had me come back 5 days later to take out the drains (best day ever) then one week after that and now one month after. I think the most important ones are the 24 hrs and 5 days for drains.

Oh Crap. Really? I do Not have the help though... to be 3 hours away from my daughter. Dang it! My consult is coming up Wednesday. Gosh.., how bad were you feeling 24 hours after? Ughghgh!!!!!!

Where did YOU stay Sweets? Within walking distance? The 3 hour car ride back & forth... on my stomach~ isn’t sounding very appealing.

How are YOU feeling about your big booty now? Glad you went thru ‘it all’? Are you on Instagram? LoL

Could your husband stay with you while someone watches your daughter? It is not easy 24 hours in and gets worse before it gets better. My pain increased until about day 3. Doctor says its because the swelling increases.

I dont live far from his office. Trust me the last thing you'll want to do it move around. I would highly recommend staying near by and going back home after your 24 hour follow up so you dont have to move around anymore.

I am very happy, every day is a little better. The biggest progress I saw was day 5 and 6, I went from 10% to 50% and now its just kinda hovering around 80% every day. I havent posted any pictures on my social media accounts yet. Waiting for a month before really investing money into clothing in case im still swollen.

‘THAT’ is why... I want to come straight home after surgery!! Gosh,... I’m not sure how I’m gonna do this....I wonder if I go alone, stay in a hotel...& hire a nurse of his?? You are So helpful!! I’m very grateful!! Thank You. Do you remember seeing a hotel ~maybe within a few blocks of his place? (Oh!! And he operates at a different facility than where he has his office.... right?) I’m not even sure how I’m gonna manage all this. LoL!! XO

I’m gonna ask him (tomorrow) if he would be ‘ok’ with me just doing 1 of those appts. (Either the 24 hr post op OR the 5 day drain removal appt) LoL

You are Crazy Lucky to live not far from Him!!!! There is no one qualified here in Grand Rapids for this surgery!!

They have people who come from all over to have surgery and they can accommodate you with a recovery center I'm sure of it. The W on Lakeshore is right around the corner. You will have surgery at 900 N Michigan Ave which is about 5 min from his office.

I got 400cc round implants. It was placed in the muscle. He also liposuction my back and placed in my hips. I'll post a picture
