So I am finally getting the BBL that I always wanted! It really wasn't hard to choose my doctor. He is the only one in the Chicago area that actually produces dramatic yet natural looking results from what I've seen. The consult went extremely well but he said I didn't have enough fat to get the butt that I desire with a BBL alone so I decided to go with implants as well. I was always against implants for myself bc I've heard recovery is much more difficult and worried that it would look too fake....but now here I am getting what I never thought I would! lol I'm nervous and excited. I'm going to get lipo on my neck, arms, under arms, flanks, lower back, and lower abdomen. We haven't discussed the size of implants yet and wont do that until the day of surgery. Considering I have the flattest behind possible, I want to get the largest ones my body will allow. I will continue to update everyone with my journey! Pics coming soon....

Honestly.... it's the worst pain I've ever had in my entire life! I'm not a cryer for pain and I cried the entire way home :( I live in Naperville and there was a bad accident on the Eisenhower near independence so we had to get off there and take the streets for a while. Which made it even worse with all the stopping. I can barely get up out of the bed to pee. The Vicodin does absolutely nada for me and I never take pills so u would think it would be helpful. This sucks but from what I can tell the Dr did an amazing job!!!! I really like his personality too. I'm going to post before and after pics tomorrow :)

Another thing.... I saw u had issues with fainting. I'm very scared I'm going to faint going to my post op appointment tomorrow. I start seeing black after standing for less than a minute. I really don't think it's possible for me to go even! Is it an important appointment?

Awh damn really!! I'm sorry. I live close to you! It'll get better. Yes I would keep food by your bed and make sure you are drinking enough water. You do not want to faint. I was fine going to my appointment because I ate and drank a bunch of sugary stuff before. The morning of I fainted because I got up without eating anything. The first week is the worst and you should really consider having someone with you at all times-- I wanted to keep my sx a secret until I realized I was fainting and ended up needing help. If you have any questions just ask!!

My boyfriend has been helping a lot and my parents are going to come stay for a little while. I'm getting a lot of muscle spasms in my butt and my arms. I can't believe how helpful u have been through this process . It might not seem like much to u but I really appreciate it! I'm the biggest drama queen right now it's pathetic lol

Lmaoo it's all good. I was ready for the pain but not the dependent part. I hate having other people do things for me lol. I'm about to drive today for the first time in 3.5 weeks

This surgery was totally worth the pain. Dr.Shifrin is the best surgeon I’ve come across. My clothes have never looked better on me. I can’t wait to go back to him.
