Here's an after pic. I will take one in better light soon. Going for a checkin w/ PS IN 3 days. The right side seems a little funky in that I have more pain when I move my arms and it seems like I'm still swollen on that side and the bruising isn't gone yet.

Don't want to Jinx Myself
Today I got on the stair master (not the elliptical--that would be too jarring and would hurt)for 30 minutes. It was really nice to get some exercise. I can't wait to try running, but I know that's a long way off. I'm trying to find the perfect comfortable bra that doesn't irritate any of the incisions. Otherwise, I would say that the incisions (internal and external) are irritated when I am trying to pull in and out of tight parking spots, cutting through raw potatoes or melons, and putting my hair in a tight ponytail. I usually wash my floors by hand, and I cannot do that at all yet....ha! I also haven't tried to pick up anything super heavy. I am being very careful with what I do with my arms. Oh--I also am sleeping only on my back, and find that I cannot sleep on my side yet. It is really nice to lie down at night, but I am super busy at home with my kids and with my work, so after about the 4th day, except for working out and some of the heavy lifting and reaching, I am back to where I was. My kids are not super little either, but I cannot even think of picking any of them up or cuddle with them right now--I hope the cuddling gets easier soon. If my kids were any smaller, it would be really really hard to care for them. I would need help if any of my kids were younger than 5. When did anyone else start working out? What exercises caused no pain?
