I slept very well last night (about 4 hours) and woke up just in time to take my meds. My appetite is good. I'm eating all my usual foods, just much less than I normally would. I haven't had a bowel movement since Monday night. It's Thursday morning today. Dr said the pain meds cause constipation. So I also have been taking a stool softener, but still nothing. Pain is minimal. I'm going to call nurse today and ask if I can switch to over the counter pain meds and hopefully get my tummy working back to normal.
Skin is quite itchy under the bandages and I haven't bled anymore. As soon as husband gets home I'm going to get in the shower and I think I might feel well enough to catch a movie tonight. Thanks again for all the well wishes it's so much appreciated!

Post-op bust measurement
So if u scroll up top, you can see my pre-op bust measured about 47 1/4"
I just measured my self now and I'm at about 45" , but that includes some layers of gauze & bandage. Either way 2 1/2" reduction is not so bad

Did your insurance pay for y'all procedure?
Yes. I got pre-approval from the insurance. I might still have to pay some out of pocket but I doubt it will be much. I'll post an update when I know for sure.
What a Nice Size - Outcome for you ! I'm sure you will be SO HAPPY ! When I went in to use my Bathroom Scale the day After Surgery - it was the FIRST TIME in YEARS - to be able to actually SEE THE SCALE Reading ! Could see my Feet ! What a Thrill ! LOL ! Did you get any of the BROMELAIN for the Swelling ? It just about SAVED ME from the Hardness and Swelling ! It helps - I believe MORE than my Pain Pills do ! Mine was from a Health Food Store and it comes in 500 MG Capsules and you take it 3 to 4 times a day BETWEEN Meals.
No I hadn't heard of bromelain. I'll check it out thanks!
i have only gone down 3" but have dropped 5 cup sizes. i wish i had measured my boobs leaning forward and hanging down pre op because that will show the true difference. our pre op measurements tend to be boobs lying against our chest or squashed into a bra
5 sizes? That's great! I'm so excited to just be able to wear regular bras without extra wide straps!

Post-Op Pics
Changing gauze & wrap first time wasn't fun at all. It looked really gross and I started getting the dry heaves. And they look really small to. Dr said smallest I could be would be a D bc I'm very broad and font have a dainty frame, but these look like C's. I don't mind though. I'm just ecstatic that I'll be able to wear different kinds of bras, tops, dresses without feeling uncomfortable. Thanks girls for all the well wishes. I'm so grateful for this resource. Great! I feel so fortunate that my insurance covered it. I think my confidence & self esteem is going to get a boost :)
It has done wonders for my body confidence, I am losing weight and back in a bikini at age 57!
I'm 11 days post op. Have a D bit they looked so small when I woke up. They're now reshaping. All the best! Tell me about that instant back relief!
I hope mine reshape. They look kind of boxy right now.
Mine did too but are getting into shape.
