Hi Beatrix! I'll be following along with your journey. I have somewhat similar stats (I'm 5'4 and ) and might get a bit more exercise (I run and have a 3 year old as well... Running after him ups the ante, lol) but similar boob size, etc.
I'm interested that you're going so large...I was thinking full C/low D which is what my little boobies grew to while nursing. They're perky, just small. So I want to retain shape. I'm still not 100% sure I'll do surgery, though leaning towards it more and more. I live on Miami Beach, so you now we wear verrrry few clothes, lol.
Anyway, I'll be looking forward to hearing more about how your pre op goes!

Nice to meet you Cinna! I also have a toddler (21 month old) I forgot to mention that in my stats. Sounds like we're in a very similar situation.

According to my PS, my boobs are also has good shape and symmetrical. They are perky but small. I am still a bit shy about posting boob pics I might do it one of these days haha.

I decided to go larger based on what I am reading in the reviews here and that just in general women tend to wish they got bigger boobs after they get theirs done. Overall though it will depend on my pre-op since I have a small frame, I think my body can only handle up to a certain size.

Hi Beatrix! I'm getting my surgery on almost the same date as you (I'm 1/24), and my wish pics are nearly identical :). I'm a little bigger than you (5'4, 120) and have two kids (all done now). Best of luck to you!

My bwd is 11cm too but my ps could only put 400cc on my frame. I wish i could've gone 450cc

I think a 50cc difference is not that much. I was surprised my PS let me go up to 450. I thought he'd only let me have 400. He did say that it's all relative (skin elasticity, breast tissue, anatomy, etc) and he brought different sizes during the surgery (up to 500 cc lol). I just told him I want to look like my wish boobs and I just picked the highest cc he could safely give me at the pre op.

Congrats on your new look! I am 5'1 and I am going to get 500cc's overfilled to 550cc's mentor saline implants in 10 days! I really like how the 500cc's fit, but worried that going under the muscle I would lose some volume so my PS is going to overfill them up to 550cc's, depending on how they look. I am really excited, just nervous about the surgery. Like you, I have read the negative reviews and the positive ones. I have a sister who got her BA surgery in her 20s, she got saline over 20 years ago and still has the same ones. Her PS told her that saline doesn't have to be replaced like silicone, only replaced if a (rare) issue comes up or if one deflates, and they still look great.

Attached are the boobsI am going for. I want them to look big and natural but still perky. With that thought maybe moderate plus would be best for me but then I have a small frame so maybe high profile would be better. Can't wait for my pre op!

So I have been reading the "Not Worth It" reviews for Breast Aug and Breast Implants. I'd like to stay informed as possible so I try to look at both sides of the fence. I learned quite a few things:

-Research your doctor. Make sure he/she speaks with you in person and takes his/her time with you.
-Don't get an implant wider than your breast width. (Good surgeons know this anyhow).
-Plan for the worst case scenario. I told my husband the risks and he said that he will support me with whatever I need if things don't go well.
-Know your surgeon's revision policy.

is there anything else I need to keep in mind?

Reading the botched cases made me scared but speaking with a friend who also went through BA and still love it after a few years made me feel better. I still want to do it because I want to look and feel more feminine with or without clothes. I am also in my late 30s so I feel that I've lived with small breasts long enough (not necessarily a bad thing) and I want to know how it feels to be on the 'other side'. I am so lucky to have a supportive and loving husband.

I have been trying to get in shape and while the rest of me is looking good, my boobs are shrinking and I hate how lingerie looks on me around the chest area lol.

I love my small perky breasts but I am getting ready to say goodbye to them. I still think I will miss them so that's the only thread that makes me a tiny bit reluctant. One thing I need to keep in mind is that my breasts will never look the same again if I do decide for explant/revision later on and I think I am okay with that.

Also another thing, I won't worry about the cup size, as long as they look like my wish pics in proportion with my (petite) body, I'd be super happy!

Consider what exercise might feel like with D/E cup breasts. You'll likely need two sports bras for any impact activity - nix running altogether- and yoga will be limited too. I know I was your size with DDs that I just had removed. Want to hear something you'll find crazy? Your before pics are my wish pics. You're already perfect! I hope you get the outcome you're looking for!

Thanks Lisa! I'll keep that in mind. I think a D cup for my frame is actually a C cup for average sized people. But I will definitely let my surgeon know about that possibility of it impacting physical activity. (I dont do much yoga or running. Mostly HIIT exercise which is also pretty intense I suppose).

Oh I have not posted any before pics yet, just wish pics for now. I'll read through your review when I get the chance. I am curious about both sides of living with implants to better prepare myself. I am completely not discounting the fact that I might want an explant someday and I need to know what to expect. Thanks again!

Good for you :-) I'm glad you wrote this .. I just had my BA on 4/10 and what people need to know before hand is exactly right. Also, I have not worked out ever because of my body.. but now that I have big boobs (500cc) I can get in shape all I want without worrying about losing my chest. (Was an A prior to BA)
