After 5th Mlis Wrap For Weightloss And Inchloss...Eh - Chicago, IL

ORIGINAL POST

So about 6 months ago I was turned on to the Mlis...

ChiBunnyblonde
$125

So about 6 months ago I was turned on to the Mlis Wrap for inchloss and possibly weightloss depending on what claims you believe. I was petite 5"1 115lbs (ideal weight 104lbs) and only 28 years old. No kids, never had surgery. I am frequently bloated for no reason and have a strict diet that I stick to but when I bloat i looks so lumpy and disgusting it makes me cry. I gain 5lbs water weight and it all puff out my stomach :(
I decided to try a series of these Mlis wraps at $125/per to reduce inches.
WRAP 1- Amazing results. I lost 2 inches in my waist and even my ankles looked tinnier! I did have an odd thirsty sensation and felt a little odd inside like id definitely had something done but couldnt put my finger on what. I was hooked.
Then came the downfall...,
SECOND WRAP- one month later. I am still the same weight and the results didnt last the weekend from the previous wrap :( they blamed it on a glass of wine id had that weekend...im doubtful. This wrap went the same but after I had less results! This time i left with a still semi poochy tummy and feeling thirsty...
Ok one more shot...
WRAP 3- this one has to work! Nope... $125 wasted and less results than wrap 2. I looked almost the same :( as before the results didnt stay from the previous wrap either.
Ok two more tries!!!!
WRAP 4-5: big frowny face! These wraps left unnoticable results.
VERDICT: so after 5 wraps and wasting nearly $700 im the same as i started. Its like that first wrap is magic and then it never works again! After all that im still 115 still bloated looking and still have the same measurements...stupid me.
I gave up and got lipo recently see my review coming soon!

Thank for posting about your experience with the body wraps. Sorry they didn't work for you!

The m'lis wrap is not a weight loss wrap... You need to drink a lot of water to help flush out the toxins that it helps to loosen and break up. The contouring/plastic wrapping part is like have a compression sock over your body which stimulates the lymphatic system... If you aren't drinking enough water drink alcohol and other things that dehydrate you, it's not going to do much good. It can help restore elasticity to the skin as well. Hydration is key!

Exactly! I completely agree, I had the wraps about 5 years ago and honestly I loved them, I saw results, this was honestly my only way to lose my cellulite for the summer and yes it is temporary but it is better than so many more expensive treatments that I have tried for cellulite like velashape, ultrashape, laser, coolsculpting. I paid way more on those treatments and did nothing compared to the wraps. It also depends a lot on who will do them and how experienced they are. I got them done in Montana and the lady knew exactly what needs to be done and boy I saw results, I tried the same wraps in Wisconsin and I saw nothing, I was so shocked, the lady was definitely not experienced, she only wrapped parts of my body which you are not supposed to, you are supposed to have all your body wrapped. Hope that will help! I was most definitely impressed when I got them done in Montana, I only lost inches (no weight) and my cellulite was almost gone so that is why I did them not for the weight loss and yes you need to keep doing the wraps to have consistent results. Also I paid $80 per session $125 seems a bit over priced. Anyhow, I personally recommend them and I really like them.
Here is what I have tried so far for cellulite and inch loss:
endermology: did nothing for me
infrared wraps: made me sweat but and was super dehydrated but did not do anything else for me
lotions and scrubs: they usually do very little, did not work much for me
velashape III combined with ultrashape paid almost $3k, that was the worst thing I could do with my money, complete waste
coolsculpting inner thighs---complete waste, it left some lumps, very uneven
laser ---it hurt so much but again ...nothing no results for me
So yeah m'lis wraps is the only thing that I can say is super cheap and it works but of course you have to keep doing it, also your genetic is also a big factor so factor that in.

You are more than likely toxic with heavy metals which will hinder you from any results due to a toxic liver. This does happen. When it does, you stop and find a nutritional practitioner who can help you detox at a deeper level as to get you to the point where the wrap will work. It does work. I've wrapped someone 6 times in 2 mo with a 6 dress size loss. Another observation is you must be in a very clean eating regimine in order to get results. Sometimes people blame something when in fact it's because they are not being compliant with the program. Just food for thought.
I hope this helps you or anyone else dealing with this issue.
Also being bloated can be a digestive issue. Don't blame something just to take a seamless easy way out. Even with lipo there are huge ramifications to your health you may not see right away. Good luck
