I went for a consult for under eye filler with an oral surgeon. Many of my friends had also gone to him with good result, although many of them were much older than me (I'm 31, they were 47-52yo). Anyway, I was hoping for a light bump in my tear trough area as I've always had a tear trough defect there naturally. The physician suggested that I get two syringes, one under each eye and increase my cheek volume as well as fill the tear troughs. I was a little confused, because I really like my cheeks even though they are a little flat. Anyway, to make a long story short, he injected laterally first, filling the cheek area, and minimally in the tear trough area. The left eye looks fine, but 3 weeks later and I look like I was punched in the right eye. It kind of looks like he put too much on the outside of my right eye and ultimately made the tear trough deeper. I'm trying to find someone to reverse Belotero, but I've heard hyaluronidase can dissolve your natural hyaluronic acid too? Do I risk developing a real wrinkle there if I just wait for it to go away?

I don't think you should inject anything else into your tear trough area. There was another realself member who had vitrase injected into her tear troughs (very late after her initial HA injections) and ultimately it ruined her eye. Big time. Horrific pictures of her end results are posted on this site. I would be very careful if I were you!
Hey, I have had hyalurondase before. I don't think it dissolved any of my natural collagen. It just went back to normal.
I was told that the science is still not complete and that a tiny bit of your own HA can be dissolved too.
