Heyyyyyy Ladies and Gents!!!! I'm excited and nervous. I surgery is scheduled with Dr. David Shifrin on June 12, 2017. I've ALWAYS had problems with my weight and hate the way my butt is shaped (flat at the top.) After visiting various doctors and going to ATL (Dr. Okoro) as well as reading reviews on RS, I decided Dr. Shifrin was the one!
My main concern is sleep and pain ????
If anyone has any tips/ advice I'll really appreciate it.

I'm pissed!!!! So I called Dr. Shifrin office and spoke with Blanca. In order to schedule we have to pay a $500 fee, none refundable fee, which goes towards the surgery( no problem, paid that on the day of the consultation 4/19/17.) I called to reschedule because I wasn't able to which my vacation days at work, Blanca tells me that "the $500 is none refundable and I'll have to repay another $500 to reschedule." NO WHERE on this paperwork states that!!!!! When I asked "Are you serious?" Her response was "Ill call you back!" That was 4 hours ago!!!!! I am so upset because I really wanted this procedure and I feel ripped off. I'm

Good. Can't wait to hear how it goes. They told me $100 consultation fee but $500 to book a date good for only 6 months. Well I'm not quite sure when I'll be able to have my surgery as I'm still breast feeding and haven't gone back to work yet to see when the best time in January to be off. So I didn't want something to happen and they try to run that same script on me about. Hanging dates. So I'll wait until I know when for sure.

You made a GREAT choice! Dr. Shifrin is did my TT/MR/Lipo and I couldn't be more HAPPIER. I am so you too will love your results as well.

Does he give after care instructions for TT? As well as items needed during pre op? When I came for my consultation I didn't speak with him, I spoke with his assistant. He was a nice tall Black man.

You spoke with Dr. West. What surgical center are you going too? Mines was at Magna in Bedford Park. I did purchase a lot, because you probably will not use it. I have a list on my page I believe. The main thing is Toilet seat and pain pills. Oh zip up gown and PJ pants too hot for sweats now.

I wanted Magna because it's closer but I changed it to the downtown center due to my work schedule...... girl I swear I was ready to stock up on sweats lol

I have my consult for a BBL on May 24. I also was planning to go for a TT next year. What did Dr Shifrin say about doing both at the same time? Similar results? Harder recovery?

I spoke with Dr. Shifrin briefly. My consult was mainly with the tall Black man (I forgot his name.) The recovery is longer because of the TT. However, he has no problem doing both.

Hmm. Not cool that the surgeon doing it didn't take his time with you. In any case, can't wait to see your results! I'm aiming for July if I decided to do the surgeries one at a time

I felt the same way;however, I really like Dr. West. He stated that he will be there during the surgery and I'm comfortable with him..... they should have some openings, just make sure that you have the $500 to schedule your appointment if you decide to do both

Dr West is the best! I actually didn't meet Dr Shifrin till the morning of my surgery and had only talked to West, he made me feel so comfortable and answered every question I had. I had a BBL & BL done and decided to go with them right after meeting with Dr West. You're in good hands girl!

Hello I'm so undecided between Dr. Shifrin & Dr dillion, I see you had Consultation with Dr. Shifrin do you know how long is recovery time for TT?

I had a consult with Dr Shifrin 8/4. When I got there 10:15 appointment they asked me if it would be ok to meet with dr Shifrin asst because he doesn't come in until 10:30. I was wondering why they would schedule me for 10:15 if doc didn't come until 10:30 but whatever. So I said sure asking as I get to speak with Dr Shifrin when he gets in. They took me back to a room at 10:15 and I was sitting in there until 11:15 when I went out in the hall and asked had they forgotten I was in the room. Dr West then came in and started talked but a few minutes later Dr Shifrin came in saying "she requested to see me so here I am" idk if he was thing to be funny or not but yea I paid my $100 consult fee to DR SHIFRIN not Dr West. My consult went well and he suggested that I split up my surgeries and get the TT with MR and contouring along with lipo to lower back ))($13,000) and if I do just TT and no back lol it would be $10,500. When they thought I'd left I heard Dr West telling the nurses that "she did t want to talk to me" which wasn't the case. I just wanted to make sure I talked to the person to whom I was considering for my surgery.
So I'm undecided.
