Life changing

It’s been 6 months, my nose especially the tip is still swollen and changes regularly. But it looks 1,000 times better. It is literally life changing for me. Strangers talk to me all the time, cashiers, people in line at Starbucks/Target. Women want to be friends with me, I get better and way more dates. I actually enjoy being single now, it’s fun! What a difference, I’d do it 1,000 over.

Week 3

Okay I don't really feel as threatened by lacking anonymity at this point. Today was my first day back to work and everyone immediately noticed. I've read that sometimes the change is so subtle that people aren't sure exactly what's different, but my nose needed a lot of work so.. lol. I Love my nose so far. I've gotten a lot of compliments and I feel like it really makes my face so much prettier. I know it still has changing to do and is still a bit swollen but I feel like the swelling has gone down very significantly and I'm getting a good idea of my final result at this point. I still really can't smile with my teeth, looks weird, and the tip of my nose is still quite swollen and looks kind of downward when I smile wide, which I'm sure will resolve as swelling diminishes.

Day 11

The tip of my nose is kind of pale colored and I know my nose is very swollen. I think the tip will shorten and raise up a bit as the swelling decreases. I have been taping every night and usually at least part of the day and that definitely helps a lot. Tape, people! My nose seems especially swollen after showering and my skin is sooo oily! I'm not sure if the oily skin is completely related or not.
People don't seem to notice even now, only a week and a half out, that I got a rhino. I've heard a few people tell me "wow, you look great" but I don't think they know why, or maybe they're just not saying.

Dr. Shah is honest and trustworthy. He truly is an artist and his confidence reflects that, he knows he's good. I wouldn't trust anyone else with this sensitive procedure. Shay, Patient Coordinator, was very helpful and answered all my emails quickly and was always very nice. Gold Coast surgicenter staff also couldn't have been better, especially the anesthesiologist and Nurse Morgan.
