Results after 2 years and 4 months
WORTH IT$4,500
I meant to update on my 2 year anniversary but ya know, life happens. For once I finally don't think about or obsess over my nose. I am happy I went through this. I like my nose. May not be the most perfect nose but I am at peace which in the end, that's what I was looking for; being comfortable with myself. My nose definitely looks better than it did a year ago. I posted pics so u can judge for yourself :) I did not contour or highlighted anything on my face, my face is just greasy lol I hope my review has helped someone. The only advise I would give for someone looking into getting rhinoplasty is do your research and ask as many questions and opinions from as many PS as u can and go with ur gut. Also be realistic with ur results and give it time to heal and settle.

It has finally been one year since my nose job! So I went to see dr. Shah on my one year, got pictures taken and another steroid shot on the bulb of my nose. Apparently it is still swollen. So I won't have to see him for another year to see final results after 2 years.
Overall I am happy with the results. I still have those uneven nostrils which are less noticeable than 4 months ago. The tip feels normal. Maybe in a year from now the tip will be thinner and nostrils more narrow but only time will tell.
P.S Thanks a lot for the support of the realself community it has meant a lot seeing others that are or have been in the same boat as me. Thanks for yall who followed my journey and found comfort or helpfulness in making a difficult decision. I know not everyone will have the same experience but I do hope the outcome is positive :) until then, thanks you beautiful souls

Sorry I haven't updated sooner. So recap, I had my appointment with Dr. Shah back in December 15th got another shot on my tip which really help with the hardness of the tip. I can feel my tip and its more narrow! My next appointment won't be until March which will be one year since my surgery :) Until then, have a good new year's!

Your nose is almost identical to mine! I think your nose looks great on you! However, on me, I wish it was a bit smaller and the profile not so straight (because, unlike you, I have really sharp features so it looks too masculine on me). I don't know what to do. :/ Do you find that with the injections, you're getting more of a supratip break and less just a straight line from the profile?

The injections has help me more for the swelling on my tip. Me personally I do prefer a straighter profile with a tad lift on the tip which is what was done. Maybe rasping a little bit more on your bridge can help not to be that straight. Bring that up to your PS if there is anything that can be done to give you more of that "feminine" nose with the curve on the bridge which I think is what you are looking for :)

I love your nose. Can I ask what you paid for your rhinoplasty ?

March 3, 2016
thank you! Let me break down the cost: Rhinoplasty alone was $2,750 for my case. Facility fee and anesthesia was $2,035. So the total was $4,785. But you also had to do blood work which for me was $150. The rhinoplasty will vary depending on what you need done, how complex the surgery will be and which PS you choose. Hope this helps :)
