WORTH IT$7,100
Hi! I'm 5'7" 120lbs and a 32b in Victoria's Secret bra's (which means I am probably just an A, since they run small there). My BA is scheduled for September 3rd which is coming up very fast. My doctor and I decided that since my rib cage is so narrow I will be receiving 400cc Mentor Silicone High Profile under the muscle implants. The thought of 400cc kind of freaks me out! But at my sizing appointment those were what I thought looked the best. I'm sure the size will turn out great. I have already picked up my prescriptions, but I still have an entire list of things that need to be done before my procedure. I read this book called the Boob Job Bible. It was a little pricey at $39 but completely worth it, I really feel like it is helping me prepare for what's to come. My biggest worries regarding the procedure are (but not limited to lol): what my coworkers will think of my changed appearance, nausea (from anesthesia and pain medication), constipation, and all around things just not working out well. I work for a large pharmaceutical company surveying products. I am constantly reading reports about things that go wrong in surgery or medication delivery. That is not making things easier regarding the thought of adverse events that could come up post op.
I need help on decided what to wear to the procedure, and also about what bras to buy for 2 weeks post op. I took 6 days off of work, but it ends up being 12 all together with the upcoming labor day weekend (I also work from home on Monday's). I have a feeling my boobs will look boxy at first, so I would like to plan for a decent amount of coverage. I am not looking for sports bras just yet. My RN recommended that I avoid sports bra's for the first 4-6 weeks. I am thinking something more like a yoga bralette? Just can't seem to find one I like. I also have no idea what size I would need. Medium? Large? I will post pics of my before soon! I'm on my work computer now hehe

which dr. did you choose? I'm from Chicago too and still trying to narrow down my list.

We have similar stats and are getting similar implants (I'm getting saline though) on the same day. I'm going shopping for a few bralettes tomorrow.

I got two bralettes size L from Urban Outfitters! I'm not sure if they have that store in the U.S. (I'm from Canada) but I totally know you can order online! They're cute - lacey - and comfy! Im excited to follow your journey - I'm booked in for October 14th Saline 400cc through the armpit! Best of luck

If you don't mind, what are your measurements? Height, BWD and also bust-waist-hip ratio? I'm having a hard time deciding on size and projection, based on a similar ratio. You look great! Thank you for your posts, it helps those of us trying to decide.

14 Hours Post Operation
Newbietoboobies99September 4, 2015
Hello all!
It's been 14 hours since the operation but it feels like 3 days. When I first woke up I couldn't believe how hard it was to take a deep breath, but that passed in about 2 hours. So far everything else has been going fine. My pain level when I first woke up was about a 6 or 7. Now that I have had about 4 doses of my norco I am about a 2, and I only say that because everything is still a little tight. I haven't really been able to tell what my new boobies look like bc my mom keeps telling me to stop peaking at them haha. Right now the norco is making me pretty itchy. I am going to call my doctor in the a.m. to see what he says. I have experienced this before with hydrocodine cough syrup. I just took a Benadryl and it seems to have taken away some of the itching. I did manage to take a picture of one of my boobs though. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to post more. So glad to have finally gotten the surgery out of the way. Now it's time to rest and rest some more. :)

If you haven't already, you might try wearing a super padded bra this week so the change is less noticeable. Feel free to join the September 2015 breast augmentation surgery forum for some additional pre and post op support. Good luck and update us often!
Oh perfect! And here are some helpful recovery supplies you may want to have on hand!
