I was extremely hesitant about having any facial plastic surgery due to an awful experience I had 30 years ago. The previous Dr. attempted to correct the over abundance of collagen injections by injecting a massive amount of steroid which left my skin as thin as tissue paper. Also the eyelid surgery performed to try and get rid of my now unbelievably loose skin, left me with an eye that does not close all the way. I tried to put the whole thing out of my head, but I can't say I ever was able to. I just wanted at least some improvement but wasn't sure what would be an option. I heard of fat transfer surgery to the face using my own fat through liposuction. I diligently researched and found what I thought would be a good physician to help me. I found Dr. Ben Caughlin. I knew by the end of my consultation, he was who I had hoped to find. He's so personable and empathetic, but equally as important so knowledgeable. Completely honest about what I might expect as well. He answered all of my concerns and questions in a kind and professional manner. I had my facial fat transfer surgery 5 days ago and I'm really happy with the results. I am aware the final outcome may take weeks to occur but I'm so happy. I waited a long time to try and find a great Dr. and I did. Seriously, if you are considering facial surgery of any type, go see Dr. Caughlin. I'm sure I'll want or need something more done at some point and know exactly where I'll go. Really an amazing guy.
