Pre-Op
After losing about 100 pounds on weight watchers my breasts were looking deflated and droopy. I have kept the weight off for 8 years and have had success firming up other areas through strength training, but my breasts were still an area I was not confident in. I started seriously considering breast implants 3 years ago, just after finishing graduate school and just recently felt financially secure enough to go ahead and have the procedure done.
I only met with 2 surgeons and went with Dr. Horn because I felt he better understood my wishes. He recommended a smaller implant and a lift to get the look I wanted whereas the other surgeon recommended a larger implant and a benelli lift.

Post-Op
My surgery was yesterday. Surgery took 2 hours and afterwards I spent an hour at the center coming out of anesthesia. Luckily I did not experience nausea and had a fairly normal lunch and dinner. I was groggy from pain killers and spent the rest of the day laying around watching TV or napping.
Today I went back to Dr. Horn's office where one of his nurses removed my bandage and helped me get into a compression bra. They only recommended a front closure sports bra but I went ahead and bought a special post-surgical compression bra and the nurse did mention that it was a good choice as this bra will keep the weight of the implants off my incision.
As much as I expected the implants to look high on my chest (thanks to the research I have done on realself) it is still unnerving to see them look so high and firm. I am looking forward to seeing them drop!

Dr. Horn's a Terrific Surgeon.(He is also my surgeon:) ) You should be very happy! His staff is very Helpful as well. All implants are "High" when they are put in. Are they silicone or
Saline ?
Not to worry:) they will slowly drop to where they should be. You Look Beautiful & have a GREAT SURGEON. If you have any ??? Please don't hesitate to write me.
