I definitely agree! That's partly why I said Lxf should just focus on being positive where the OP is concerned. State your concern, but don't let the situation stress you or the OP out, you know? The OP seems happy with her choice of surgeon and she is close to her procedure date and the last thing I'm sure she wants is deal with any more stress than what she's probably dealing with already. Let's just wish her best for her journey and pray that she gets good results.

If you reread my comment, I did just that I wished her the best and that was all. I expressed my concerns as I have actually undergone the procedure already I only wish someone had told me something similar prior so I can consider my decision weighing the positives AND negatives, in light to her response I respect her decision to go fourth and actually praised the fact she did her own digging.
My experience was negative and that is what this forum is for sharing your experiences hence you must excuse the fact that I don't have much to say which is positive regarding it.
I do not know what issue you refer to with the 'OP' as far as I am aware she did not have an issue either it was just you, I am not forcing her to do anything, I wish her the best.

Yes the sx is $2000 USD. I'm
booking thru TripAdvisor.com. After a Skype consult you may send your deposits to secure your sx date. I haven't booked my hotel yet but I anticipate the entire sx and other expenses will probably be around $5000.00 or less.

I just saw it. He's the one for me! I'm glad I found a doctor who specializes in ethnic noses and does amazing work! Only thing is this 18 hour flight....it's worth it to me though.

I am in communication with him now. Its kind of slow going, but info is being conveyed. I hope to schedule my surgery with him for sometime in may (this year) and i plan on traveling alone. If anyone is interested perhaps we can go at the same time. #buddysystem

ctgirlz I plan on scheduling with him for rhinoplasty in May of this year as well...I just hope the slots aren't up by the time I can make my deposit next week or so...I'm flying there alone as well from Texas. If you want to be travel buddies or meet up once there that would be nice if you're down. I just hate the prospect of a long flight alone...

Not yet. I plan to put in my deposit in the next one or two weeks so hopefully May won't get booked up, though I'm also open to June. Do you have your date yet?

No i don't have a date yet, but I've told them that i'd like a may date. Communication is going slow at the moment. Did you have lags in communication with them also. Due to their response?

I did have a few messages that went unanswered for about a day. but most of the time I got an answer a few minutes to hours later. It seems to happen when I see he is on vacation with his family on his Instagram, which I understand. The clinic or patient coordinator seems to be much quicker with responses than Dr. Yap himself. Are us emailing him or using WhatsApp?

I've been using Whatsapp. Hopefully they resume communication sooner than later. Meanwhile when you get your date let me know and I will request to be done around the same time. How long do you plan on staying?

I'll definitely let you know when I secure my date :) I plan on staying nine days after surgery. Just so I can rest up for a day after the stitches are taken out.

I'm in the exact same boat! Honestly so unhappy, I can barely leave the house.

I would genuinely be satisfied coming out with even no change to my old nose or the slightest improvement, but I've actually come out with a worse nose with wide bridge, bulbous tip, visible scarring and an extremely uneven collumella that screams awful nose job at you ;(
The purpose of the consultation is to lay these expectations on the surgeon if they happen to be unrealistic or unachievable it should be said, you never agree to something you cant even remotely achieve and do the complete opposite of the patients wishes. Unfortunately, I'm not in a situation where i'm being a picky perfectionist and I have minor issues with a great job done, I've been left with an awful looking nose which does not go with my face at all and unlike before contouring does not even help me.
