40 Years Old, 2 Kids (19 and 9) 5'6 165lbs Hypothyroidism, Breastfed Both Kids

I'm a very active 40 year old woman, I run Marathons 5k, 10k and 13k regularly, I also lift. I have great muscle tone. Drink water
And eat pretty healthy. But I always had a roundness around my belly button. I also found losing weight with Hypothyroidism and age was getting harder. So I decided after contemplating for 10 years to fill my breast back out and lipo out that pesky abd fat, flanks, bra area, and hips. I spoke with 3 Plastic Surgeons Tenebaum, Rottler and Judith Gurley. I chose Gurley. Dr. Gurley was present in her office visit, she took her time and made me feel comfortable. Her staff was accomodating and informative. I also heard that Dr. Gurley is really strict in the operating room. I'm a surgical nurse and that means a lot to me. I like when doctors run a tight ship.
I was very anxious...weeks leading up to the procedure...i was worried about the pain. Guess what....i had no pain with my BA, but the lipo is very very sore...I feel like I've been beat and kicked in my stomach, flanks, and back. 375 in Left 345 in Right. Once again my breast feel engorged but not excruciating pain....but The Liposuctioned areas are very tendered and sore. It feels better when i walk around and sit straight up! I'm sleeping well.

Feeling better, walking around more, wearing my bra garments and spanx. Taking motrin and drinking 64oz of water.

Finally cleared for Running and getting back to lifting weights! Breast feel great, still areas of healing with the lipo! But I don't regret ever doing this. I love the way I'm looking in my clothes!
