I've visited a few surgeons over the years who were very pushy for the money and not all that confident in what they could do for me , but Mr Tahery was a world apart from other consultations he is very calming confident and a real pleasure to deal with I booked my surgery for the following Friday so 8 days from consult to op. My op was not just cosmetic tho I also had breathing difficulty which he was going to correct aswell as a large hump and droopy bulbous tip , sadly the initial op was not a complete success so a revision op was arranged for November and im very happy with the results . I had the surgery at the nuffield hospital in Chester and everyone their is lovely. I would absolutely recommend Mr Tahery 100%

Not sure what to do now

The swelling and healing is all done now but my nose is still hooked, tip is still a bit droopy and I still can't breathe properly and have to hold my face at night to ease breathing thru my nose which I had to do before my initial surgery. Don't know what to do now

I can't get hold of the surgeon

I chose the Nuffield partly because of the after care it provides, for the last few weeks I have tried numerous times to get hold of Mr Tahery to discuss what's going on with my nose as it has settled badly and I'm having trouble breathing thru my nose, nobody answers on his number he's still ad enticed at Wrexham road but having called the Nuffield today he doesn't work for them anymore! Where does this leave me? I have to pull at my cheek at night to be able to breathe properly as that seems to open the nasal passage and after spending over £4000 and having 2 have 2 ops because the first was so glaringly obvious of a bad job I had to go back for a revision. Even when I smile my nose pulls to 1 side and looks twisted and it has a hook to it which was the main cosmetic thing I wanted fixed.

Devastated it looks awful

I've had 2 surgeries and yesterday I took some pics and as much as I knew it didn't look good I didn't realise just how bad it is. I've always hated having my picture taken and I hoped with my first op I would not mind it so much but this has not changed, I'm probably more embarrassed now than before if anything I mean it's been operated on twice and still looks horrific. I did not want to go thru a 3rd surgery but to fix my breathing I'm going to have to at some point. But what if whoever does it makes it even worse and how many times will I have to go thru this before there's nothing more that can be done or it just makes a full on mess of my face. I wish I'd never had it done in the first place
Manchester Otolaryngologist

after having 2nd op i now cant track the surgeon down, the website is down and I'm still having problems with both the functionality and appearance
