I'm a new woman

It’s been 9 months since my tummy tuck. I love it but I’ve always had a lot of pain in my belly button and it seemed infected. It has a lot of scar tissue to the left of it causing it to be off centered to the right. My doctor said it’s fine, massage it and it should smooth out. Nine months have passed and it’s red and bumpy and off centered. I’ve been putting an ear plug in it so it doesn’t close. I still feel sharp pains in it. Can this be fixed?
