Belly Button Bumpy and off Centered

It’s been 9 months since my tummy tuck. I love it but I’ve always had a lot of pain in my belly button and it seemed infected. It has a lot of scar tissue to the left of it causing it to be off centered to the right. My doctor said it’s fine, massage it and it should smooth out. Nine months have passed and it’s red and bumpy and off centered. I’ve been putting an ear plug in it so it doesn’t close. I still feel sharp pains in it. Can this be fixed?

I did a ton of research online looking at before and after photos. I was searching for a body like mine to imagine what my results would look like. Women were either not so bad or botched. I had a lot of skin, fat and stretch marks well above my belly button. After my surgery I look at my before and after photos and they are the best results I have ever seen. My suture line is perfectly straight and clean. I have a beautiful belly button. 98% of my stretch marks are gone and the ones left, that were too far up, are faint in color and pretty. I'm very swollen still but look perfect, cannot wait until the swelling subsides. Dr. Chen makes you feel comfortable and at ease and always has a positive attitude. His staff was very knowledgeable and empathetic to all my concerns. I can't wait to give him my before and after pics so that women like me can see what an amazing PS he is. I also had a breast augmentation with him before and they are also just what I wanted. He has truly made me a new woman and I am forever grateful to him.
