Melanage Micropeel
UPDATED FROM ransrvr
20 days post
Three weeks post peel
WORTH IT$200
My skin feels soooo smooth. I peeled for almost two weeks!!! My face/neck is glowing with pretty new skin. This was the only peel that I’ve ever experienced to “shed” for so long, and it just seemed like the skin peeling was thick pieces of dead skin. AWESOME
ORIGINAL POST
Melanage Micropeel
It's been six months since I met with my trusted and skilled esthetician, Kelly.
My skin lost its "luster and shine", and Kelly suggested a Melanage Micropeel, explaining to me that it was suitable for most skin types and would help create an overall brighter complexion. It also helps in reducing fine lines through collagen stimulation.
It was virtually a painless and rather fast procedure. It is now two days post procedure and as you can see in my above photo, that my entire face is peeling, as expected.
I was informed by Kelly that I should refrain from picking or peeling off my dead skin. I applied a gentle moisturizer to aid in the healing process.
I am hoping to achieve significant improvements in my appearance of fine lines and help to stimulate collagen production. I will update in one week.

You certainly keep up with the latest procedures Randi. That peel seems like it's very easy. I'm looking forward to your updates with more pics to reveal your beautiful new skin
Hi Wendy, Yes, this was a painless peel, and the most promising of all peels. My skin is looking/feeling vibrant and glowing!!! I'm actually still peeling after 8 days!!!
How many microns did they use?
It's a retinol peel, and I'm not sure what the strength is equivalent to. Sorry!
Can you post a new picture with your results ?
Hi! I just posted two photos! I must say that this peel was AWESOME. I peeled for 10 days!! Love that every area of my face/neck has new beautiful skin. I've never had a peel that "peeled" for so long and thick skin peeled off.
Hi, I’m telling everyone if you ever consider having a facelift PLEASE DO NOT HAVE A BROW LIFT. Dr Standerfer, Dallas, TX (March 2020) He suggested also having a brow lift along with the facelift would make me look younger. What he DID NOT TELL ME WAS THAT I WOULD LOSE A LOT OF HAIR!! And have BALD SPOTS!! So PLEASE spread the word.
I'm so sorry to hear about your hair loss. I had a brow lift and my ps was upfront with me, advising me about the inevitable hair loss
I'm also getting a facelift next month, and again was told about the possibility of hair loss. I hope your hair grows back... I'm sure you look phenomenal with your new and youthful looking face. Hugs.
How awful. I'm sooo sorry to hear that. Thanks for the warning. I hope you're able to get PRP for your hit line or something. (Although more pain and expense is not fun.)
Oops. I replied under the wrong comment. I hope you're able to get the Dr to help wig correction of some sort.
No worries
Sounds like something else is going on
She commented that she lost a ton of hair!! Hmmmm! It does seem like it could be a vitamin deficiency or hormones off of wack.
