Consultation review: disrespectful staff, disappointing experience

When I was asking questions about results to expect, recovery, etc. I was told by the Doctor that I was "young" (insinuating naïve) and that he was very experienced and that I wasn't comprehending the expected results won't be perfect skin. I said I understood but I guess my face said different to him?? He used that as reason to tell his staff NOT to allow me to get treated, even if I paid and scheduled my appointment. After I paid my deposit (despite really uncomfortable pressure from staff asking repeatedly, "Are you REALLY sure you want to do this??? X is alot of money for someone young like you."), I got a call saying I was rejected by the doctor for treatment. I lost my consultation fee cost of $100, time off work to attend two meetings, and left feeling rejected and disrespected. I congratulate the Doctor for his years of experience & success, and I still believe patients are still people and deserve kindness and respect.
